Gingrich knows history.

He will nurture the Tea Party and make it stronger as an ally.

He urged the passage of TARP.

This is patently false and causes me to discount the entire article. I specifically remember Newt appearing on Fox News and railing against the TARP bailouts in the fall of 2008.

Nonsense. There is plenty of momentum for a conservative Congress, plus Governors and State legislatures. The lib media are scared of Newt.

Newt is not my top choice, but my sole focus is beating obama.

“Gallup finds that 82 percent of Tea Party affiliated voters deem Newt Gingrich an acceptable Republican presidential nominee in 2012. They don’t seem to realize that if he wins the nod their movement is doomed, regardless of how the general election goes.”

I have to somewhat agree, along with Savage.
Newt is maybe the sharpest of all, but has a lot of baggage
that he can not just throw away.

America, as well as the Republican party, is in deep doo-doo.

I understand Newts Progressive weaknesses, they worry me. i'm backing Bachmann

But let me say I just saw Newt on Gretta, and his brain makes Romney look like a pimple on a retards butt.

No, Jonah,

The problem is that tea partiers know in their bones that it is not possible to run a country like the Titanic. You don’t go full throttle when there’s ice in the ocean unless you expect to hit an iceberg.

You don’t claim to support limited government when you permit government tentacles to nip at the edges of Constitutional guarantees and good business practice until the bones of both are all that’s left.

Big government and elite media don’t really think there’s no limit and no end to all this. They just want US to believe it. AND WE DON’T, Jonah.

We don’t. Got it?

A bit of silly contribution by this author. I find his article one of many that tend to try to downplay Republicans regardless of their beliefs.

This seems to be happening all over the Republican (inside the beltway folks) party these days. To me, it is just another act of desperation to get their own moderate Republican nominated..can you say Romney!

Have you notice that almost all of the Party Republicans continue to support Romney? Have you also noticed that all of those folks on TV also support Romney and continue to downgrade other challengers?

Welcome to the world of Politics! Yes, these folks have something to lose if their candidate is NOT elected!

Yes, Politics is make up of crooked politicians and their supporters - time for both term limits and a third party!

Fox seems to be getting a bit desperate on this...a real shame!

Time to move on and join the bandwagon.
There is nothing wrong supporting amnesty, global warming, ethanol subsidies, fairness doctrine, fannie mae, obamacare individual mandate and bashing tea parties as “radical rightwing social engineers”.

These are core tea party principles /sarc

Seriously, we have actual conservatives running.
I sure won’t betray my principles by voting Nancy Pelosi’s best buddy.

This Freepernut stuck in Connecticut has noticed that not a single like-minded woman in the region can stand Newt. FYI. And (I think) its because of his tacky-looking wife (my opinion). I know that sounds shallow.

I’m just taking notes at this point ...

Mitt, no way. Newt, questionable. Cain out. Palin never in. Perry a woos. I think I will give up my right to vote this time around. Nobody in contention appeals to me. Why not keep the commie in office and hope for the best.

How about instead of blabbing all day long on FR you get your fanny out and start getting the signatures for your candidate...

May not make ballot in Ohio
