House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi now says she is not sitting on a trove of opposition research on former House Speaker-turned-GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich.
In an interview conducted Friday and published Monday, Pelosi hinted that once the time is right she has some juicy stories to tell about her former colleague.
“One of these days we’ll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich,” Pelosi, D-Calif., told Talking Points Memo. “I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him. Four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff.”

That ethics report, which can be found here, examined allegations that Gingrich violated House rules by using his congressional staff to aide him on a college course he taught called ”Renewing American Civilization.”Sounds good to me. I'd want me staff on the same philosophical page, or at least knowing the intellectual framework upon which we are all working together. Newt was engaged in training his staff.

Nancy just let her big mouth run too soon. Now she will have to use the media and sneak these things out through leaks.
She won’t be able to take credit for it.

It’s the fault of the voting public. The laughable gullibility of American voters guarantees that nothing will stop this kind of ‘muckraking’.
Is this the same Pelosi who used U.S. military aircraft to fly herself and her family on numerous trips at taxpayer expense? The same Pelosi who demanded these same aircraft be stocked with supplies of the best and most expensive liqueur, also at taxpayer expense?

Dear Nancy, you seem to assume that there are no skeletons in your closet. Financially you benefit from your elected office, you played foreign policy [illegally] when you went to Syria etc. during the Bush Administration and your most honest and ethical House Speaker-ship has a whole lot of Democrat mud on it!

Pelosi is a good enemy to have.
Everyone despises her so much, they will be on Newt’s side whatever she says.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to have at least 100 teams of investigators volunteering their services to investigate all DC politicians to ascertain which ones are the most corrupt and then list them in order of their dirt. Mass resignations would be the result would be my guess? What’s your guess?
