We know more about the average illegal immigrant than we do about Obama.

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media “vet” the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.

This “election” will be a non-election...featuring the state approved “candidates”-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.

Maybe he did all that stuff, maybe he didn't. An accusation doesn't make is so. Anyone checked these "ladies" bank accounts for payoff money? There needs to be proof before you assassinate a man's character. People cheat on their spouses, it may very well be true. But it's all a little too convenient don't you think.

Exactly. None of us or anyone was there to witness what he is accused of and it saddens me that anyone on our side jumped in to throw him to the side just because of some alleged accusations by some women.

Doesn't no one get it, that this comes all from the lame stream media; who serves the left, for the purpose to eliminate all our candidates until there is only one left that has absolutely no chance against 0bama?

>> it saddens me that anyone on our side jumped in to throw him to the side just because of some alleged accusations by some women.

“alleged accusations”? They made them on teevee for all to see. Those accusations weren’t alleged!

What I can’t understand is how intelligent people can completely ignore not only the public allegations but also the supporting facts in the case: the NRA payoffs, the mumbling convoluted misstatements-later-corrected and half-denials by the campaign and by Cain himself, the thirteen year relationship Cain admitted to involving payments to a single woman that Gloria was not aware of.

Sure *one* of those women may have been lying. *One* of those payoffs may have just been the cost of doing business. But ALL of them? Including the woman Cain admits having a “relationship” with?

And if there were FOUR that came forward, how many more didn’t?

Seriously, what would you need to convince you he’s a horn dog? A cotton swab of evidence?

Put another way: what if *your own husband* pulled all this stuff on you, Kaslin? Woman after woman after woman. Lying to you for thirteen years. Spending YOUR money on HER. You’d chalk it up to “he’s a soft touch” and “someone’s out to get him”? Seriously?

Let him go. He’s bad news. Whatever his rhetoric he’s not the kind of leader we want or need. The people who look, and think about it, and say “no thank you” and step down off the “Cain train” are doing America a favor.

Bill Clinton was given a pass by the psychotic press through the use of “optics”; the First Lady by his side, parrying the obvious results of his infidelities.

Mr. Clinton was the governor of a state (a small one) and had no foreign policy experience. He was involved in questionable land deals while governor and serial infidelities while in the governor’s mansion.

Yet, the psychotic media attempted no hatchet jobs on him and his wife, no loaded questions, no questions which would make a normal human want to punch the questioner in the nose because of the obvious venom inherent in them.

(Herr Goebbles would be proud, very, very proud.)

IMHO

...even the most trivial lie (dirty jokes at the office) will be used against you.

Like when Kennedy tried to taint John Roberts as a racist for using the word "amigo" in a memo.

You are right, character counts. And,

Your post is despicable. You have accepted, on the face of it, the accusations, unfounded, unproven accusations, designed to destroy a man, without having any shred of evidence.

I do not believe herman Cain is guilty of any of these accusations. They werre designed to do one thing, become something he had to defend instead of being focused on the campaign. Designed for bots to absorb without proof and render him moot in the campaign.

Good job on absorbing.

Cain got a bad rap on foreign policy.

I remember an early interview of Cain in which he was asked about the Palestinian "right of return". His answer revealed that he did not have the faintest idea what the question was about.

Look, any Democrat is going to always get unlimited mulligans on this stuff, while Republicans and especially conservative Republicans get hammered.

Whining about it will never make the double standard go away. What a conservative candidate needs to do is one of:

- When falsely accused of improper behavior, declare "It's a lie" and keep up the fight.

- When correctly accused of improper behavior, declare "Yeah, it's true. So what???" and keep up the fight.

But if you "suspend your campaign" in response to false charges, all that does is encourage the sharks to go after the next conservative who runs.

Alleged accusations is pretty accurate. Not one of them offered so much as a scrap of tangible evidence.

Yes character matters which is why sleazy scumbags should not be pimping baseless unsubstantiated accusations as "proof"

Really sad and sorry comment on the current state of "Conservativeism" when accusations spun by the leftist media without even 1 single shred of proof are mindlessly accepted as "fact" by supposed "Conservatives".

Although I have not quite caught up, I am in pursuit of virtue. Apparently your pursuits lie in a different direction.

You need a little work on your arrogant, presumptive nature, and then you’ll be perfect.

I agree with you. I know it's probably too much to hope for, but since he just suspended his campaign, I hope he gets back in after he takes some time with his wife. Although he doesn't have much time, I guess.
