I don't think they can destroy Perry or Santorum, so that fight will have to be one based on the issues.

The thing is we do not have to let the machine destroy our nominees. They can put out all the crap they want to but we still have our votes. Vote for our candidate and defeat Obama. We must defeat Obama!!!!!! We must win the senate!!!
We must increase our house majority!!!!

Nominate Romney. That is their goal. With Romney as the nominee, the conservative and evangelical vote is supressed. Or, a conservative might run as a third party candidate.

From the looks of things, a lot of people on our side are doing the job for them.

It would seem that they have already taken their shots at Perry when he was the front runner. I don’t think they have much more. Nor do I think that they have much more on Bachmann than what they already showed when she won the Iowa straw poll. Santorum’s problem is that he lost in such a key state after backing Spector. But any of the three would be a large improvement on the Zero fraud-in-chief now occupying the Oval Office knowing he he likely is not even eligible to do so.

Perry and Bachmann helped do themselves in, and strangely enough, neither Perry or Bachmann have been able to really capitalize on Cain's problems and make a comeback and they are fast running out of time. The folks who bailed on them have no interest in going back to them it seems.

As for Santorum, he probably can't even carry his own state, so they probably won't bother with him.

I don't like it, but it may come down Newt versus Romney. The media, including Fox News, wants it to be Romney vs Obama really bad. I think we can beat Romney since Romney is going nowhere fast and hasn't been really moving in the past several months, but God forbid, if Romney gets the nomination, a whole lot of us will be going third party or writing in names.
