I’ve had this argument at work. Strong Christians telling me that they will not vote for Newt under any circumstances. I say that this will get Obama reelected, several more anticonstitutional baby genocide judges and You will be responsible for this grievous sin. Hold your nose and vote for the best! . .. (by the way I am also an afflicted Browns fan. They have never let me down for so long because they have never been up. Oh for the ghost of Jim Brown!)

Newt has repented and asked forgiveness, tell your Christian friends to live up Christ's commandment to forgive and welcome him into the fold!!

I love how all these holier-than-thou “strong Christians” ignore Jesus’s teachings on forgiveness. They give the rest of us a bad name. When someone goes out of their way to immediately identify themselves as a “Christian,” I check my wallet.

“Strong Christians”? We are not electing a spiritual leader. While a Christian president is a definite plus (as opposed to a Mormon (Romney) or a Muslim (Obama)), I am not going to disqualify a candidate because they were divorced a couple times. Especially one who professes a belief in Christ and has asked for His forgiveness. If Christ can forgive Newt, who am I to count it against him.
