I AM from canada, and the only reason why Harper got the thumbs up from the liberal populace is that he was able to steer the nation from too much regulation. Yes, it is a pro-abortion, GST-VAT happy, govt ‘should take care of our healthcare”, country. I am not going to blast Harper and the Conservatives because I was on the ground for the Conservative Party back in 2006 to help him win the majority govt before I moved to America.
