He just might be,they aren’t that much apart on most issues,
took a sort of test/quis here on freepers a couple of weeks ago who would be the perfect potus acording to how I would solve problems, and Newt 86% and Herman 78% the others lower
but what do I know, so far in my seven decades, my advise goes mostly unheeded LOL

That thought is interesting. If it occurred the left would surely continue it attacks on Cain. Considering the amount of baggage Gingrich has I would think he would not want to add Cain's to the ticket.

Sounds great to me if it polls well, but I suppose it is not likely. Maybe with a really strong pro-Herman Cain speech by Gloria Cain, and something to repair the damage done by the most recent accuser...
I just hate seeing the Cain Train derailed.
No Newt should put him in charge of Dismanteling the EPA,Dept.of Education ,Dept of Energy etc. etc.

I suspect that may be in the works. Newt has to pick a VP that will unify different factions in the party. Cain would be one.
I do wonder if Cain’s endorsement of Newt will make a difference though? Based upon the rhetoric I have seen, at least on FR, it won’t. In the general population of GOP members, maybe some.
It actually wouldn’t surprise me to see him pick Santorum or Bachmann to shore up the religious base. Although, there are risks with both.

He can't be paired with Newt. The President and Vice President have to be from different states.
