The Daily Mail ^ | 12-4-2011 | Staff - AP

With the Republican field’s first major test just weeks away, the failed presidential bid of Herman Cain is throwing his support behind the current frontrunner.

Sources told Fox 5 Atlanta that Herman Cain will endorse the presidential bid of Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Several sexual harassment allegations and a claim of a long-term affair left the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO’s White House bid all but destroyed.

Yeah--and we'll have four more years of Obama.

That'll really show them!

Why do you think Sen Coburn said he didn’t think much of Newt’s leadership?
I don’t get it. I remember it being a great time for getting beneficial things done in D.C.

It made sense to me that he’d support Newt. He realllllly did not like Perry. :)

I'm sorry I missed your post to me earlier. Just now going back through this thread. Yes, you're right, he didn't like Governor Perry but I never knew why. Not that it matters.

All I can say is God bless Herman Cain and his family and whenever he’s ready to step back into the media spotlight to make his endorsement, he will.

Bachmann is a shrill that attacks every candidate but Romney not to even mention what she tried to do to our veterans and also she has the 11th worst record for MISSED votes in congress. She is paid to show up and vote...try missing your job and see what happens.

Well, apparently "what happens" is that you get elected President. Just look at who is in the Oval Office today.

Actually, your posting makes my point - that we conservatives savage our best candidates for sport.

I'm not going to say that Michele Bachmann is perfect, but I will say that in Heaven Mother Theresa wears Michele Bachmann pajamas to bed at night.

Not a fan of Bachmann for pres., but Santorum once endorsed Arlen Specter over Toomey in PA.

I have to stand before God on judgement day. I’ll vote my conscience. It’s a free country, you can vote yours.

Obama drives the car at 100 miles per hour towards the cliff while Mitt wants to slow down to 65 miles per hour and good ole Newt will do it at 55 miles per hour.

But we are still going over the cliff with Newt, it will just take a little bit longer.

Rick always was a loyal supporter of the RINO insiders here in PA.

Santorum once endorsed Arlen Specter over Toomey in PA. ______________________________________________________________ I know that. And, I was bitter at him over that until about a week ago and I finally had to let it go. Newt endorsed, and campaigned for, DeDe Fossofava. What are you gonna do? Who the hell do we have left who can carry Conservative principles while carrying the banner of the GOP Nominee? IMO, Rick Santorum is the only viable candidate left who can do that. I'll go with Newt, if it gets down to Santorum throwing in the towel. But, don't be surprised if Santorum is the big surprise coming out of Iowa.

i think they are polling the forum to see who is the top dog they will support. Here is just a taste of their fellings for newt.

For all of you who support Newt or are thinking about it...please go to his Facebook page and try to post something factual about him: a quote, past belief, etc. I posted something about him taking bribes and I even said that I liked some of his ideas and my post got deleted and I got BANNED from posting!! And I was very respectful, mind you. My boyfriend then posted asking why everyone's post is getting deleted and he got banned as well. I sure as hell am not going to vote for him now and I will in fact campaign against him (respectfully). Ron Paul is much nicer than Newt. I met him one time and I asked him to sign like 3 things and he did even though there were literally thousands of people there. He has not flip-flopped one time and has said the same things for 25 years. There is no dirt on him because he hasn't done anything wrong! No affairs, no bribes, no nothing. Ron Paul 2012!! Ron Paul makes the most sense out of anyone else. And if you guys don't believe me about Newt Gingrich's facebook page go post there yourself. Post a quote or something and I guarantee you will get banned. Who does that!?!? What happened to freedom of speech?

Interestingly, Cain is at 58% on this 3-way poll on Fox news. Scroll down and on the right side is the poll:

http://nation.foxnews.com/

Who would you vote for in the GOP primary?
Herman Cain
Newt Gingrich
Mitt Romney

Herman Cain 58.09%

Newt Gingrich 36.04%

Mitt Romney 5.87%

I don’t know why, either. Obviously they thought Perry was out to get them as they wrongly blamed Perry for one of the bimbo eruptions before they had the facts.

Here’s another poll on the GOP race that just got started, so the numbers are very skewed right now. Everyone can forward it around to anyone planning on voting in the Republican GOP primary or caucus, in an attempt to get a larger and more representative voting base:
