It’s $430
I was looking at the 7.62x39 for some reason....
Thank you sir. I knew your knowledge of such things is greater than mine.
Cool, then I’m gettin it!!!
It sure is magnetic though.
I got one on a magnet now.
Ok, that is what I was seeing as well.
Thanks.
“I would not think it would need a special bolt, the cartridge appears to be about the same diameter as .223”
I found a spent 300 whisper casing at the range one day. It was a cut down and stretched out to about .302 and it was head stamped .223.
It took me hours of web searching to figure out what it was.
KIDO messing up for anyone else?
I guess I should have brought a empty jacket with me to the TC Shoot.
No. It’s working for me.
I guess I need to read up on this 300 whisper.
I found on thread on the web asking if it was steel jacketed.
No one knew the answer.
Can you find the .300 Whisper upper for that price?
$819.99 is a bit pricey....
I just used a torch to melt the contents.
.300 Fireball is the same the M&P .300 Whisper?
Fits on a .223 lower?
Well if I can’t shoot it, it sure is purty to look at.
I know it is french .308 and was made in 1971.
I don’t know how much of this you can see without logging in. Gun Tests is a great magazine though. There is zero advertising, just facts.

Aw rats, I missed that. I was searching for the Whisper.
It looks like Model 1 has the 300 blackout upper for $370.
No Whisper however.
It was also issued in Belgium.
I can’t find squat about the stuff.
I do have a French MAS 49/56 that is chambered for .308 that I have never fired. *it was dropped once, never fired*
At the very least it will add to that rifle as a collectable.
