“I would not think it would need a special bolt, the cartridge appears to be about the same diameter as .223”
I found a spent 300 whisper casing at the range one day. It was a cut down and stretched out to about .302 and it was head stamped .223.
It took me hours of web searching to figure out what it was.
I guess I need to read up on this 300 whisper.
