Sure, but only for the primaries in the general if Newt is the nominee everyone should support him if there is not a viable 3rd party challenge. Notice I said viable, since I believe a conservative 3rd party would doom the GOP to the “ash heap of history”

I sincerly doubt any candidate that gets the gop nod will select a vp from the contenders. I think it will be a big surprise. Newt has mentioned Rubio, Bachmann has mentioned Trump. With Romney, Paul, Perry or Santorum...could not guess.

In what universe is a guy who balanced four budgets, reformed welfare, orchestrated a GOP takeover of both houses of Congress, and had a 99% pro-life voting record worse than a guy who passed the original version of Obamacare and actually tried to run to the LEFT of frickin’ Ted Kennedy??

::::They just have a bug up their rear about Newt and it’s going to stay there pretty much.:::::

That "bug", well that would make it real hard to concentrate on those FACTS. Pity.

Am very glad to see Newts conservative record across FR and puts to rest the false statements he's a rhino...he's a far cry from that. Except to those with the “Bug” where the sun doesn't shine. Perfectionists who will never enjoy the joy we're having that it's possible we have a chance to get out country back on track....at the very least put the breaks on the fast fall we're now on. Heck even JR posted an article of Newt's record....as opposed to Romneys.. I found very informative, though I'd not vote Romney...never.

Newt will have his hands more than full when he gets to Washington...and will need those of like minds with him who see the huge problems and as much the smaller ones which undergerd the larger ones.......Rather like the “little foxes that spoil the vine”....that nibble away at the roots . These too must be addressed along with the big picture.

So much to do and he will need us all to support him...I think even when we might not understand the way he's going....because sometimes you have to let some things ride or appeased for a time while one takes care of the major issues faced.

I am trusting God greatly on this man and those he will appoint to be with Him....am already prepared even in his run he will not always “please” my ideal....he's appealing to many across the board to get the job...same when he gets to Washington...he'll want congress on board and will need both sides of the aisles to get things done.

We need to not get our pants in a knot so dang fast when any politician "appears" to go off in a direction unfavorable to our ideal.....for not one will ever satisfy us entirely...but I just have such inner confidence if we have any chance of getting out of this hole....and that's an "if"....Newt's the one who has the best chance of getting it done.

Won't it be grand to have our President and his office respected once more!!!!

I like what Rush says: Any of the GOP candidates would be 100 or 200 times better than Obummer.

2012 is a referendum on Obama.

We must dump this colossal disaster before he does any more damage.

“balanced four budgets, reformed welfare, orchestrated a GOP takeover of both houses of Congress, and had a 99% pro-life voting record”

Newt is a scholar who understands history, details of governmental affairs, current events and global politics. They won’t be able dismiss him with the standard “Republicans are stupid” attack.

His breadth of knowledge and brilliant analytical skills will shine during the presidential debates. He will educate the public while crushing Obama. He has the experience needed for the dismantling of the federal bureaucracy.

I do hope soon that many will just calm down & truly listen to what NEWT is saying. My faith is in his ability/skills and downright tenacity to get things done, and he does know how, starting before he is sworn in. The very night of the election, America will begin to heal, it will take a long time, no doubt about that.

I was very happy to see Jim R. come out and endorse Newt, that will go a long way on FR to sooth the broken hearted.

This election is not a popularity or beauty contest, it is for the survival of AMERICA. Yes, it will be wonderful to have a President who is once more respected, and who will bring back the RESPECT of all the world, or fear, their choice.

Me too...Jim understands what's at stake..and it's more than getting a conservative in office....lots more....but in Newt we can have someone who is a "Reaganite" and that does make a difference.

Besides I think Newt will utilize both Palin and Cain in his administration...he knows how to plant people where they can utilize their skill for our country.
