The opposition doesn’t think it through that much. It’s just find dirt, throw it. Oh they have a sense of what may stick and what won’t. But people expected, and I think rightly so, that Cain and his wife had a more intimate and communicative relationship *because he presented it as such*. That is why this particular dirt had a greater impact. I don’t really think any of his supporters believed he had a affair, but many things he has done have cast a shadow on his judgement- and he has asked us to trust his judgement since he lacks some types of experience. This particular bimbo stalked and suckered him and he never mentioned it to his wife. Bad form.

Cain’s judgment in ‘befriending’ these women at any level is a serious issue. Bimbos tho they are, they are NOT Bill Ayers or Rev. Wright. But the American voting public didn’t care about THAT. I don’t recall one journalist looking into those relationships, especially Ayers.

I ‘get’ that someone with Cain’s background would be vulnerable to every tear-jerking story. Sometimes I tend that way myself. Given his lifestyle, tho, I’m not too shocked that he hadn’t shared any of this with his wife. In retrospect, he no doubt wishes he had, but that’s water over the dam. The media has won for now what I hope is a Pyrrhic victory.

I will pray for Herman and Gloria Cain, and their family. And for this great nation.
