Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

I thought he'd move ahead anyway. I feel badly for his supporters.

Does he endorse Romney like the Pawlenty?

Where will his supporters go if he does?

For me, the "scandals" didn't do him in as much as his inattention to policy and issues.

Newt comments on Twitter, "Herman Cain’s 999 plan got our country talking about the critical issue of tax reform and he elevated the dialogue of the primary."

Endorsement for sale... to the highest bidder

What an idiotic statement.

Cain’s judgment in ‘befriending’ these women at any level is a serious issue. Bimbos tho they are, they are NOT Bill Ayers or Rev. Wright. But the American voting public didn’t care about THAT. I don’t recall one journalist looking into those relationships, especially Ayers.

I ‘get’ that someone with Cain’s background would be vulnerable to every tear-jerking story. Sometimes I tend that way myself. Given his lifestyle, tho, I’m not too shocked that he hadn’t shared any of this with his wife. In retrospect, he no doubt wishes he had, but that’s water over the dam. The media has won for now what I hope is a Pyrrhic victory.

I will pray for Herman and Gloria Cain, and their family. And for this great nation.

LMAO

You tout an admitted adulterer, a serial husband.......when Cain stepped down amid accusations of adultery?

It’s a joke, right?

“This is about the money... he just wants to do the speaking deal at 20k a pop. Whatever.”

That’s all it was in the beginning . Book tour.. He caught fire and the small donors kept him going. Now he needed big bucks and nobody is there.
Personally, I don’t know why he dropped out and let his followers down. Bill Clinton didn’t succumb and became the comeback kid. An acquaintance of mine speaks in code. He’s a barber and is black. He calls Cain Old Man River. He snickers. He says it’s all you white folks who got so carried away. He snickers again. He says there was a lot more coming’ our way and Mr (code) knew all about all of it.
I don’t travel in circles of the all-knowing so it surprises me a barber would have anything to say at all. Sorry for all the Cainiacs. It’s going to happen to all but one. And we all believe in our candidates with the same passion as you did yours.

[Never liked his shuck and jive platform. Adios!]

I’ll take Cain’s platform over the current Liar-in-Chief occupying our White House anyday! He’s the one with a shuck and jive platform.

How depressing...

I'm going to concentrate on Illinois political races to make sure Conservatives are elected.

Now I suppose all the Cain supporters are suppose to support one of the professional political class...

This sounds like an opportunity for the Tea Party to focus on how the candidates are covered.

If future Tea Party rallies adopt some "Occupy" tactics, and "camp" out in front of CNN or NBC or ABC to demand that they cover this or that story about Obama, then a new grass roots could emerge. The camps would come and go as the stories arise.

It would be called Occupy MSM.

It's over. Yes, he will be reelected. Per the 2008 template.

Obama-MSM Tandem Tag Team with Quisling RINO Amplification, a sordid alliance made in Hell, won the day. The country, the GOP, conservatism, all of it has lost. Also, why should a successful conservative Black with a message of self reliance, ever run for anything ever again at that high level in the GOP. They just are not wanted, in fact feared. Elite does not want these threats. Nice country while it lasted BK. Sorry to all (many, not to the trolls of course) for calling it incorrectly initially.

If you don’t think his endorsement is for sale... you’re crazy. He’s a business man. A successful business man. A CEO. A lobbyist. He ain’t God. You can join his website right now... and the more people who do will help him gain a better price for his endorsement. That’s reality.

The presidency is one thing. We still have Congress, and the choices there are a lot more diverse.

Schmuck on fox: “politics is a dirty game. Don’t blame the media. “

Then why the }%^%ing hell aren’t you talking about obama’s boyfriends and his love of bj’s from men???? Where are the Dateline Mystery shows on the gangland style shootings of some of the fellow Down Low playahs at Rev Wright’s church just as Obama ran for president?

Now I suppose all the Cain supporters are suppose to support one of the professional political class, aka ruling class candidates like Mitt, or Newt or Perry, etc.

Why do you ahve to come here and be an a**???

We supported Cain because he was NOT establishment.

The only other person in this race I can vote for in good conscience is Santorum.
