Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

In the end Cain was responsible for his own demise.   I have no idea if the charges are true. Frankly, most don’t sound that credible. Hard to believe that someone with that kind of behavior would be foolish enough to think it wouldnt come out. But political ambition & arrogance trump reality.... just think John Edwards.

I think what the media has done to Cain is a disgrace, but his weak response hasn’t helped him.

Listen folks, we have one goal: to defeat Obama in 2012. A candidate’s whose personal life takes front stage over the grave dangers we face, is not the right person to lead the GOP to victory. Sad, but true, Herman Cain could never recover from this. IMHO he could never have won the nomination anyway.

onyx, I’m sorry for your two losses.

You are valued and I hope you will find another candidate to love.

I was all in for Palin, also, as you well know. I’ve felt oddly detached about her since she made her decision.

I was never for Mr. Cain but he certainly had loyal followers and it’s sad his campaign ended in such an ugly way.

Be of good cheer. There is someone running you can love, or, if not love, then be happy with.

JESUS THREW THE MONEY CHANGERS FROM THE TEMPLE.

HE DID NOT CAMPAIGN ON THEIR POLITICAL DONATIONS.

SHAME ON ALL GOOD CHRISTIANS WHO SUPPORTED CAIN OR PALIN AND THEIR KOCH FUNDING.

Me neither.

If I wanted Newt I woulda stuck with him from the beginning.

At least we’ll get plenty of reaching around the aisle. More government, more taxes.

Right now I could care less about Newt. What ever the MSM brings on to him was earned.

I'm going on a sabbatical for a few weeks to figure out which candidate to support. It won't be Newt.

CA doesn’t vote until June? So much for the CA GOP!
Of course, you’re right, CA will go to the Marxist.
I am glad I gave up my CA registration this year, to vote here. I’m pretty sure Romney won’t win in my state, so it’ll be of interest to me to see who’s viable when the primary is held in my state. I just might have a say!
:)

I was a campaign worker for Reagan.

So what?

You will have a hard time reviewing much about Newt that I have not already lived through.

You're trying so hard to be a dick that you're not making sense. I was of voting age long before Newt won his set in Congress, so you've seen nothing that I've not seen myself.

I’ll just chalk that up to you being a little bit out of the loop.

Again, you're so set on insulting people that you miss the entire point. Cain just went down for alleged indiscretions in his marriage. Are you telling me Newt was not an adulterer? And that the MSM won't be dredging that up again?

P.S. I am not by a long shot anti-Newt, who apparently is your guy. So why are you trying so hard to be a patronizing dick to me?

It’s almost impossible not to get a rise out of EV, but I am still bitter about his extremely ugly post to me because I support Rick Perry’s stand on abortion.

And you’re just mad at me because I’m not totally on board with Newt and because I’m capable of telling you why.

I’ve already told you he’s my second choice.

Isn’t that enough for you?

I’m sorry Cain got out. But in fact what nailed him was his inability to handle some fairly simple foreign policy questions. If not for that, I think he could have fought on.

As for me, I’m bloody gonna vote for the GOP nominee whoever it may be.

You really think the media is done? :)

LMAO

Funniest post ever. The media will savage whomever is the most conservative in the race. Guaranteed.

No, the GOP is done. FINITO. Let ‘em nominate Romney and let them perish like the Whigs. Enough with Dim and Dim light, and the party of stupid.

He’s either going to announce that he’ll quit the race or he’ll announce that he’s decided to get rid of HBO to save $10 a month on his cable. It could really go either way at this point, and nothing would surprise me.

*rme* What a stupid post

Dude, you are way wrong about Newt.

Remember Welfare Reform in ‘94? That was Newt. And countless other very Conservaive measures and good he has done in his career.

He had a 100% positive rating from the ACU.

Abortion ranks about 100 out of 100 in the stupid issues department.

Hey troll, are you even aware that this is a PRO-LIFE forum?

There is only one issue....the restoration of America!

The problems America is having are totally due to the abolition of the right to life.

Since 1973 we have murdered over 53 MILLION taxpayers and consumers. Our fiscal problems are directly a result of these death.

Moreover, without an entire generation of missing Americans there would be no jobs for illegal aliens.

We need a Tea Party Congress and a Tea Party President to make it happen.

It takes an incredible amount of hubris to presume that a society that kills an innocent baby EVERY 24 SECONDS even deserves to survive.

A pro-life award is about as valuable these days as a three dollar bill!

And you are a troll well-deserving of a zot!

For the record, Rick Perry thinks its okay to kill some of the babies, and that states' rights trumps the God-given, unalienable right to life.

Sorry that simple statements of fact make you bitter.

I hope you don’t mind me asking a bit more about Newt..seems I need someone new to vote for.

Did Newt sleep with other women while he was married?
Did he actually have sex with other women while he was married? Is this a fact or fiction of MSM?

How did Newt handle pressure in the house? Did he get voted out or did he quit?

Thanks.
