Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.
We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

One problem: Tea Partiers have lives, they have jobs and families, and they don’t expect their costs of living to be paid by others. IF I were to Occupy MSM, I’d go to their tony homes a la SEIU.
The Tea Party showed up by the hundreds of thousands, approaching a million, on 9/12/09 and what did they get? Absurdly low ‘crowd counts’ that in no way approached reality. Think that’s when I lost any interest in Glenn Beck, who’d promote the event as his own, but then went along with those counts and left them unchallenged.
The way we win is by showing up November 6, 2012.
I used to think Democrats were the only ones who ran on emotional irrationality. I was wrong.
The end of Cain as a candidate is not the end of anything else. Grow up.
The fact that a “true conservative” would not be nominated was evident long ago. Reality bites.
There will be a nominee, and that nominee will be superior to Obama. Vote for that nominee. Or be a powerless loser. Yes, it won't be who or what we really want. That's life. Rather than worry about that, work on your local congressional races. We can elect conservatives to Congress, and a strong Congress can lead a president around by the nose.
I like Herman Cain a lot, and respect his business acumen. I didn't think he was a strong candidate. He lost in a way I don't like, but he was going to lose anyway.
Nobody cares who you won't vote for, and nobody cares if you join the 35% who never vote.
If you are determined to believe that America is lost, get the f**k out. We don't need you. We have a country to save, and while I left the Republican party 4 years ago (party is too moderate for me to be a member of), I'll be voting for the Republican nominee and conservative Congressional candidates because
I DON'T GIVE UP ON AMERICA.
Absolutely!!
;)
Oh, he will. Don’t worry. He’s been through the mill in Texas and been steadfast.
One difference between him and Newt.
okay, whoever you are step away from the keyboard. This is not the PSYCHO-FREEP I know and love. Who are you?
Tell me all about it n00b. I don’t recall bringing you into this personal conversation. That is reserved for those who started here during the Clinton and Bush years.
But if you ever reach that level of respect, I will let you know.
It would be good if we could extol the political worthiness of a candidate without calling others nasty names - like, “just the facts, ‘mam” of the old TV show. Cain people are good people, Newt people are good people, Perry people are good people, Santorum/Bachmann people are good people, Paul people are good people, Romney people are good people but way under informed. Huntsman people are good people.
Could I have applause for the good of all people on this board? Thanks, that was a roar of an applause.
Slim still has money and a strong staff and many followers.
Don’t give up on him. all he needs is a little but perceptible bounce and he will surprise everyone.
FOX took full advantage of a great deal of time spreading the vile lies about Mr. Cain to their hear’s content! I had to put the volume all the way down for the sake of my blood pressure
The devil had Mr Cain for breakfast today. I am stunned by his announcement though I understand it. So he did what Sarah Palin did, and “they’ knew that he would. The abominable lies worked for them again, to the shame of the people who listened to them.
It is a sad day for this country.
Perry needs to get a bounce from Cain dropping out, immediately.
[He will go after the Marxist with Atomic Newks!]
It’s almost like Politics is becoming FUN again!
Don’t get too attached to Newt. His personal life has been less than stellar. And now, with Cain out of the way, the MSM grilling of Newt’s private indiscretions will begin, and the purists will be throwing him under the bus next.
Starts December 10. Thank you, (((LJ))) Not sure I will be here. Trying to rest somewhat during this month.
So you’ve gone over to Newt. How does Newt feel about abortion? Has he had the many awards Perry has had? Does he have an exception for rape and incest?
How about illegals? What’s the difference really between a path to legality and a path to citizenship?
You practically called me a Nazi because I defended a workable bill to end abortion. Now you’re for Newt.
Good luck.
Don't get your hopes up. That is not going to happen.
You sound like Al Sharpton - racism is everywhere, even if you have to just make it up!
I would have gladly voted for Cain and wished he hadn’t allowed himself to be forced out, so you don’t know what you’re talking about!
