Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.
We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

And yes, for the factors you mentioned, precisely, viewed very objectively and from afar, I too also see Obama being reelected next year back home. Ben Kenobi has it right. It is over. I met and got to talk with Michele Bachmann in person and like her very much and were my state one of the early primary states she would get my vote and my hard work for her campaign, but we don't vote until March. If she's still viable in March, she will get my vote.
I also met Gingrich, Perry, Romney and Cain. At this point now, I'm ready to throw in with Newt Gingrich, too.
Sick to death of the media that's in the tank for the Marxist getting away with lies and smears. Gingrich won't sit still for that.
Life is my primary issue and SCOTUS is another. I trust Gingrich to nominate strict Constitutionalist's.

Seriously, comparing Gloria Cain to Hillary Clinton is just WRONG ...two VERY different people w/very different motivations and ethics.
What if we Herman supporters refused to throw our support to either newt or mitt? That would raise the back of the pack candidates a bit and maybe give Cain the impetus to step back in? Brokered convention?
I think it may behoove true conservatives to make sure Not To Have a Frontrunner in order to end up with a real conservative at the convention.

If Cain was so deeply flawed, why the need to orchestrate a mission to destroy him?
He was a threat to every liberal idea that has been foisted on the dem plantation, that is why.
Cain was far from the perfect candidate, non of them are, but that is not the point.
What we just witnessed was the destruction of a man who did not fit the political class agenda, the Stateist cannot allow a man like him to rise...he might actually FIX some of the problems that plague our Country rendering all these years of political gamesmanship null and void. And more importantly revealing the real game that has been played on all of us and for all to see....especially the blacks.

That was the only reason I could think of to vote Bush twice. Might apply again this cycle. It would be nice to have a conservative once in a while to vote for but the ruling class will not allow that it seems.
