Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.
We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

IMO the jury is still very much out on the birth certificate and other Obama issues. In fact, I deplore the obstructionist tactics used by the MSM and Obama supporters in high places who assume their man can do no wrong and refuse to consider any evidence to the contrary.
Unfortunately some on this forum are adapting the same head-in-the-sand mentality regarding POSSIBLE (note the emphasis) wrongdoing when it comes to "their guy."

I hear and see there’s more women than men at his rally, (what else to call it, I don’t know?!!!!)
I can see how it’s helping Newt and Romney, and could eventually help the others. But honest to goodness in my heart of hearts, I believe it helps Obama most of all. Whatever the cost, he cannot afford to go head to head w a conservative black man who made it w’out AA. Cain would beat Obama like the shameless race hustling marxist leach he is. Obama would be stuttering so bad after the first fifteen minutes, the referee would call time out—and even that wouldn’t help.
My money is on Obama’s buddies, Axelrod first and foremost. I hope and pray they do not succeed.

To which skank are you referring? The only skank that Cain "associated with" is the current skank, and he thought he was helping her. I had a similar experience once. I helped out a female co-worker who was unfamiliar with the public transportation system. I gave her advice, helped her out, and she started stalking me. Turned out she was mentally unstable. I guess using your logic, I should never even think about running for public office, eh? After all, she might be hired by my opponent to say we had "an affair".

The problem for Cain isn’t the accusation, but how he handled it. I wouldn’t find it hard to handle the accusations made against him. And since he KNEW he had been accused of sexual harassment, he needed to have VOLUNTEERED the information up front.

It’s Cain himself who made it a “death by a thousand self-cuts.” Interviews with Cain have been more than 50 percent about sex charges, since the first accusation. He allowed it, he cooperated in the diversion and the derailment.
Looks like he’s staying in and raking in every last dollar. Fine, I’d rather he not fall on his sword. His political qualifications should determine the outcome, nothing else.

He should not leave especially because the Left wants him out badly.
There are other ways besides running for POTUS for Cain to stay in the public eye and be a contributing member to the Conservative cause...and in about an hour, you’ll see that he agrees.
This situation isn’t about Axelrod as much as it is about the actions of Herman himself.
