Republicans in the House of Representatives said on Friday they will attach a bill designed to speed approval of the Keystone pipeline to payroll tax cut legislation House Speaker John Boehner hopes to pass this month.

The move is designed to ratchet up the heat on President Barack Obama, whose administration has put the Keystone XL pipeline on hold pending a study of a new route, pushing a decision past the 2012 presidential election.

When complete, the pipeline would deliver some 700,000 barrels a day of oilsands crude from the Canadian province of Alberta to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Now, that’s what I’m talkin’about! Brilliant strategy, if they go ahead with this plan.

Tax cheat Warren Buffett paid good money to the democrats to block the pipeline, so that North Dakota oil would be transported by ths railroad.

Screw that evil hypocrite, and convicted swindler Soros too.

You really think even if this passed and was signed that the following week the pipeline won’t be halted again?

I’m afraid you are right, but it might help diffuse the anti-middle class bombs with which the new tax-cutter in chief is hitting the new House members. Hard to slam thm with something you vetoed.

Obama hates this pipeline, and says he will make a decision after the election.

Probably so he can promise it to help him get back in.

He only wants gov jobs, paid for by the taxpayers.

The pipeline would created 30,000 private sector jobs in the beginning, and 200,000 in the long run.

As well as bring the price of gas down, and slow down the money to the terrorist producing nations.

Hope this works.

This is the worse kind of tax cut. Defunds underfunded medicare and social security. Transfers the liability to income tax payers for the program and the 47% that don’t pay income taxes now get free ride on medicare and SS.

Of course, this has always been the plan, get the 50% totaly tax free and dependent, and, of course, on the Dem plantation.

It's (past) time to play hardball: Run an ad:

Obama doesn't want jobs if they are in Republican states!

Just like he didn't want black people in South Carolina (27% black) to get those new Boeing jobs, preferring to send them to (3.7% black) Washington State!

DOA over in the Obama run Senate.

“If Congress does something, then I can’t run against a do-nothing Congress,” Obama said, smiling.

Yup, I've been saying this since day one. Voters and politicians express concern about SS going bankrupt, but in the same sentence, they praise the "Payroll Tax Cut."

The way it works is, cutting taxes actually increases tax revenue.

Unfortunately, the Payroll Tax Cut is the wrong vehicle.

The JFK, RWR and GWB methods were more effective.
