“Article 2, Section. 3. ... he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper...”

No, we wouldn’t consider it an “extraordinary Occasion” by any means but the decision as to that is up to congress and Dems and RINOs control enough of it to force submission.

The House could possibly adjourn anyway, it would do the Rep Party good to do so, but they can’t see it.
