That was then (90s) this is now (2011). In between then and now Newt has done the following:
1. Global Warming
2. TARP
3. Limited Amnesty
4. Individual Mandate
5. Comprehensive Immigration Reform
6. Scozzafazza
7. Called Ryan's plan "Right-wing social engineering"
8. "The Era of Reagan is Over"
So he hasn't, apparently, held on to his conservative values, but abandoned them.

That is not fair! We aren’t supposed to use stuff like that.
We are supposed to only consider incomplete, dated and poorly written hit pieces. If it’s not negative against Newt, it shouldn’t be posted.
Newt is bad, Romney and then Obama is good.
Obama can fix all of our problems if we can just give him another 4 years.
