"Women For Cain" is an online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President of the United States.
Mr. Cain has been a strong advocate for women throughout his lifetime, defending and promoting the issues of quality health care, family, education, equality in the workplace and many other concerns so important to American women.
Gloria Cain is the National Chairperson for "Women for Cain" and is the very special woman who Mr. Cain devoted his life to many years ago. Mr. Cain and Gloria celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary earlier this year. The couple has two children and three grandchildren and a legacy of family, friends, and community and church involvement.
"Women For Cain" was formed to inspire a national women's alliance in support of Herman Cain 2012 and Friends of Herman Cain. Please join our conversation to learn of volunteer opportunities and to be informed of issues and events surrounding the Herman Cain campaign.
Thank you for your support. We welcome your thoughts and encouragement for Mr. Cain. We also welcome your involvement in our effort to renew America with the common-sense solutions and principled leadership that Mr. Cain provides. Join us as we work to bring true opportunity and prosperity to all Americans.
Just do us all a favor and stop coming to Cain threads. Go to your Perry threads and talk to yourself.
Well, that’s not what you said. You said, ‘forget all this adultery stuff.’
You didn’t say innocent until proven guilty.
That indicated to me that you were ready and willing to forget adultery, which I found surprising in a person who supported someone who was running on the Goodness platform.
Cain came on like gang-busters! He sounded good, maybe too good, as it turns out. I think I am able to judge human nature and it tells me that Cain has, at minimum, made some very poor decisions regardless of the truth to any actual infidelity.
I know Perry is now a longshot, but having lived under his governorship, he does have the right stuff to put America back on the right path, so that Perry hope is just hope. By the time for Texas Primary, he's likely to be done. If he still has a good chance, I will go with Perry.
It now looks like Newt is our only chance to prevent Mitt and even with Newt's warts he is a conservative at heart, knows the ropes to get things done and is capable of righting America.
I have tried to not become too enamered with any candidate and hope I can always judge them by facts not feelings.
How about you?
Boy Perry has been giving away the people of Texas' money to his crony donors for 10 years. For me that is completely unacceptable and as a result he will NEVER get my vote.
Man of integrity my behind.
You may be right. You know there’s a little cadre of Cain supporters who have a ping list. A person called ‘Liz’ pings them to every Perry thread and they immediately come over and trash Perry.
I don’t like it at all.
So maybe I should stay off the Cain threads.
I just think it’s a shame that he used and abused so many good people who supported him and donated to him.
But, I’ll go away now.
“If anyone thinks the teenage groupie style rabid Cain support seen on FR is a microcosm of Primary voters, has a gigantic surprise coming.”
Is that you, Rove?
Have you already forgotten last years election?
Maybe you are the one in for a surprise.
No teenage groupie here, I’m a grandmother with accounting degrees, worried about the future of the country.
Cain has a better grasp of taxes and regulation and the
economy than anyone else running.
His face off with Clinton helped derail Hillary Care, so he’s already accomplished more GOOD politically than anyone else running.
The positive attitude being posted here is not what is comming off my radio tuened into local Wisconsin talk show hosts as of 11am CST 12/2/
. The leader of the pack Milwaukee’s WTMJ 50K,”blow torch” Romney supporter Charley Sykes opened up on Cain the day before the first sex story broke and has been unrelenting since. Sykes 8:30 till noon show weekdays reaches a large area and is followed in Norther Illinois and Iowa as well as Michigan.
Sykes is gleefully reporting on Cain’s downfall. Likewise locally syndicated (John ?)Bader who is heard on several am stations in the northern part of the state. Bader is not as vituperous as Sykes and not that keen on Romney.
Here is a post from the Women for Herman Cain site (some typos, but you get the point):

“Dear Mr Cain many years ago I find this not so unique for christians I knew a man Charles in died at 54 i knew him and and his wife and they were beautiful from the heart christians. at one point in my live i was going to lose my home and well he heard about it, so me at Maass and told me Adrinne I want you to go down to the bank Monday and there wil be a check for 40,000 dollars. I told him I dont know how in the world i would pay it back and he just said don.t worry you are young and you have your whole live to pass a blessing on to someone else.
At any rate he died at 54 of a heart attack and when I went to the funeral I was not surprised to see at least 500 or more people at his funeral and I went up to his wife and she told me has helped so many people his whole life and I looked in those green eyes with flowing tears and I said I was one of those people! she looked at me and just hugged me and said you know he would always keep his giving between God and himself, I said yes not for others to see.
That was a long time ago and it is funny and it is so normal men who have that kind of heart, My dad would give a waitress 100 dollar tips and I just thought since I was a child that was normal, giving unconditional that is true Christianity and I get Herman Cain and A president who will save the Republic, I wish there are more Herman Cains they don’t show up at big benefits they give and only God can see, that is real to me,,, yes and I have had a life where I can give even when it hurt to women men children, that was a good lesson to learn where only God can see.”
That's exactly why this country is in the shape it's in!! So far, most of the politicians have no clue about how ordinary American citizens live & cannot relate to them or pass laws that are in their best interests.
I also have to question both the wisdom and morality of creating a permanent low wage underclass of non-citizen “guest workers” who, by design, have no hope or desire to become citizens. Isn't that exactly what the Europeans have been doing for decades and are now realizing has created huge socioeconomic problems, ghettos and social unrest???
I can't help but feel that the “new” Newt is a lot more moderate than the original Newt. Whether he is more moral only time will tell.
According to her, they met at something like a Black Leadership conference.
They met during the NRA timeframe. So yes, they have been associated for a time period that extends beyond the limited tenure of the NRA, but they met DURING his NRA tenure.
Oh really? Who currently occupies the WH?
I had written The Cain Campaign and Media-Morphing just before Mr. Cain acknowledged that he hadn't told Mrs. Cain about Ms. White. Perhaps in retrospect, he should have realized that he would someday seek the presidency and should have behaved with that firmly in mind. However, we don't and can't act in retrospect.
There are several things that Mr. Cain, with help from his attorney, should do right now if his campaign is not to crash.
However, Mr. Cain could not with propriety tell much about his generosity to others; it would be presented in the media as bragging. If Mrs. Cain soon appears in public, recounts Mr. Cain's generosity to others in dire situations, male and female, and reaffirms absolute faith in his fidelity and truthfulness, that will provide greatly needed help.

Those stock photo women look excited about something, but I doubt it’s Herman Cain.
That’s nice. But we’ll see.
OK ...thx! That fills in some details I had missed.
About the same as you. Considering them all at one point, not enamored with any of them, but still leaning towards Cain, as I consider a man innocent until proven guilty. Nothing I’ve seen come out yet constitutes proof, just accusations. His pluses are he has leadership ability and practical real world executive experience. None of which the current pResident possesses. The others in the race are all career politicians and that’s why we are in the mess we are in. I just can’t support more of the same suicidal approach to government. JMO.
damaged goods: Newt-—Perry-—Romney-—Based on their damaged goods I’d still take Cain
Being forgiven by God does not imply a grant of trust from your fellow mortals, who do not have the advantage of divine insight as to future behavior. From our lowly view, we are fully justified in not trusting a person who has repeatedly broken a solemn vow. I am not saying such a defect can never be overcome in this life. But there is no argument from moral superiority that we should ignore untrustworthy behavior in hiring someone for the highest position of trust in our system.
As for the role of God's law in electoral politics generally, I think there are other commandments besides the prohibition on adultery in play here. Listed among the Ten is the commandment not to bear false witness against one's neighbor. This is God telling us he puts defamation on the same level as adultery, murder, theft, etc. It is a very serious crime in God's eyes, and that is a big reason why I have been very careful not to aid and abet the slander machine. My own soul stands to lose if I carelessly handle another persons reputation.
And I'm not sure what Catholicism teaches on the matter, but in the Reformed faith, it is not enough to just avoid the sin yourself. You are culpable to the degree you allow it to go unchallenged in others. If you sanction it, whether actively or passively, you are part of it. For everyone who is sincere about being faithful to God's law, it is a moral duty to challenge defamation in their circle of influence. If something bad is proven true, so be it. If there is no proof, it is a blight to one's own soul to either repeat it or to let others repeat it unchallenged.
