A couple grand in moving expenses by the time you figure in rental and utility deposits? That, and places with a job or two are in pretty short supply - unless you're talking about picking up and moving to Asia. I'm not feeling sorry for someone who is given a free education with multiple opportunities for vocational training, apprenticeships and/or internships. There are jobs out there for people who aren't afraid to start at the bottom and work their way up. And it doesn't require a drastic move to start out in one of these entry-level jobs and earn the money to finally escape the gubmint plantation. They don't even need to give up much in government hand-outs at first.
This culture of government dependence has got to be destroyed, and these slaves must be set free to provide for themselves.

(Is a country that would re-elect Baroke Hussein Owebama really worth saving?)

Back in the 80s or early 90s, I'd have agreed with you. The job market in this country just isn't what it was twenty (or even five) years ago.
