The SOB is reaping what he sewed.
Yep. Not surprised. I still watch Bret Baier and Greta..and occasionally Hannity when he has a compelling guest on...but O’reilly and especially Shemp Smith and Geraldo have lost me as a regular viewer.
FOX has quickly become just another CNN or PMSNBC. They’re all the same.

They lost Beck who brought in between 1.5 and 3 million viewers in the 5pm timeslot.
Has everyone forgotten what was happening in November of 2010? Sheesh, of course viewership has dropped off in November of 2011. It’s not an election year.
Tone it down? Become just like all those Dem channels? Losing your viewers is the least of your problems.. I miss Glenn, wonder how Ailes accelerating his departure.

Last year was a Congressional election year. Fox’s ratings soared. It’s not at all unusual that they’d be lower this year. They’ll pick up again in 2012 — despite the FR naysayer-caucus.
What did they expect? MittTV was never a smart concept. When Hanraty started bringing on the traitor Nicole Wallace, and yukking it up with that bitch, and sending regards to her father.”your Dad”, I knew the end was near. Recall this is the one who betrayed Palin on numerous occasions in 2008 - and recently, absurdly claimed that campaign “staffers seriously discussed not swearing Palin in” as VP if they won. THIS is Hanraty’s buddy? Disgusting. I watch ONLY Greta and Stossel since Glenn Beck left.
Replacing Beck with Bob Beckel was the last straw!

I used to watch Fox news pretty much constantly, or least it was on the TV playing as background music. Now I never turn it on. Same old rotating cast of talking heads screaming about the same things night after night after night. Quite frankly I got bored with it.
I dumped them in June. Don’t miss them even though I am a news junkie!
Don’t get too worked up about this yet. Last year was an election year and the Republicans beat the Dems pretty handily. So it was very newsworthy then.
Here is the Fox formula:
1. Bash Obama
2. Put outright a-holes like Bob Beckel and Alan Colmes on, along with clueless, giggly, psuedo-conservative commentators to blather innuendo and slanderous half truths about actual conservatives.
