Who is next? Gradually, Perry's "heartless" statement doesn't seem so relevant. Perry still has the record.
Forget Newton, Romney, and Rick Perry. Try the other Rick — Santorum. Less baggage.
“If Newt were elected, I wonder if his presidency would be a repeat of the other Georgian president?”
I fear that what we would have is a repeat of the Jorge Bush presidency: big government conservatism, endless foreign wars, amnesty pushes, and all the rest.
This needs to be said one more time: Sarah can not run because the deadline for getting on the primary ballot in every state has past. Stop giving false hope.

“Next” should be Santorum. I fear he will be out of the race, and I won’t get to vote for him on March 6, 2012.
This about his latest gaffe as President not knowing Great Britain and England are not the same thing. All English are British but not all British are English.
Obama is a gaffe machine. Perry has the head to head stats to crush him. now is the time to back Perry full force and if he drops out (which he will not) then go with the next best. Now is the time to rally around Perry.
****Newt thinks everyone needs to just be quiet and listen to him.****
Not true.
One of the recurring criticisms on FR (and on this thread) is that he has begun too many conversations about too many topic and actually LISTENED to the opposition i.e. Kerry, Pelosi, Gore, Mitchell, Clinton and Romney.
A President is expected to take the pulse of the people and be aware of multiple trends in all areas that might affect the living and future generations. Then to lead based on principles.
Inquiry should not be confused with arrogance!
Newt = GWB + “advice” from GA Jimmy and Clinton on occasion.
Newt is a Junkyard dog... and that is exactly what we need right now!
I saw that ad this morning — I expect a lot of people will.

Take a closer look at Gingrich. You are “heartlessly” bias in his regard. Check out my recent post and actually go to the link.
You don’t know as much about Newt as you think you do.
Santorum has definitely deserved more than he’s gotten.
So the two leading candidates in the GOP primaries are flip flopping liberals. One of whom (Newt) supports amnesty for illegals. It’s 2008 all over again both are as bad as McCain.
It’s out there and it needs to be played as Newt will have to deal with it. It has the potential to be very damaging. http://theiowarepublican.com/2011/ron-paul-blasts-gingrich-in-new-web-ad/
Newt always has a comment or a solution, like a human “fortune telling machine” spitting out a position or policy idea — regurgitating the newest fad management program. Newt is a loose cannon and can not be trusted to follow through. He is glib and without missing a beat can turn on a dime from one side of an issue to the other (good debaters are skilled in this). He is NOT a conservative.
All other candidates supporters had reasonably high favorability of Perry except Mitt's and Ron Pauls supporters which were in single digits. If you look at whose supporters liked Perry the second best was Santorums so I would say there is a strong Mitt and Paul drag on Perry in the polls.
Perry has at least 20 million. The best record on social and economic issues and I hope he stays in until the convention.
There is no freaking way, after this whole process that I am going to have to choose between Mitt and Newt. Two flip flopping, social moderate, gun grabbing politicians with no record of achievement for the last 6 years. No way.
Oh I'll vote for whomever is left standing but if it really boils down to Newt or Mitt I will vote for the guy with the best hair because in the US that's worth at least 2 percentage point while being fat and short and white is minus 2. Hate that it's that way but it is and I want to beat Obama, not put John McCain without the war record up against him.
LOL! Like I’ve been saying for several years. Newt’s a sprayed fly and you never know where he will land.
