She may not be to your taste, but why do you have to demean her like that. I am not an O-fan, but I think that she is lovely and dresses very well for her role in today’s complicated political and social climate.
Attack Obama and his policies...but leave off his wife’s appearance - that is just cheap.

I agree with you that we should not demean someone because of the physical attributes they were born with. I also think that wives and children should be ignored by the media until they choose to inject themselves into the limelight.

However, I believe that media hypocrisy should be exposed every chance we get. So, when I read things like the quote in the story that said:
"In 2009, she was named as one of the world's most beautiful women. The same year, she was awarded a CFDA gong honouring her role in American fashion - and all while wowing a global audience with her grace, elegance and daring style," ...
I will post an objection. In this case I let the picture speak for itself. I have seen plenty of this woman because she wants the attention and puts herself out there a lot. I have also seen the media try to build her into something she is not, like they did with her hubby. My contention in doing this is that she is far from being "one of the world's most beautiful women". Nor is she graceful or elegant.
