I know. I know. I hate it. But, he’s still the most authentic, experienced candidate in America as far as I’m concerned. He’s the whole package with humor too. I had to do a double take on this issue just last week. My 17 year old granddaughter, a college-bound high school senior, will be voting in the 2012 election. I was stunned. What? I missed a few changes myself.
I have a 17 year-old niece that tells me she and her friends are talking about this and finding out when and where to register so they can vote next year. She says they all want to vote for Perry!
It's funny how something like that can stir interest in young people. Perry might want to keep repeating that line! LOL!

Excellent interview. I’m perplexed at how articulate Perry can be in a 1 on 1 setting and yet struggle so much in a debate format. Hopefully, he will continue to improve in the debate format as I like his positions and lack of baggage.

I’m with you, his early debate performances are perplexing. He’s so darn good on the stump and in interviews. He gives very good speeches. People who’ve seen him work a crowd or a room say he’s masterful. I’ve noticed marked improvement in recent debates, so he and his team are certainly focusing on that area.
