Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley’s two new blistering commentaries on Operation Fast and Furious and Attorney General Eric Holder’s curious lack of knowledge about that operation’s direct link to the slaying of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry last year may signal what awaits Holder next week when he is scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee.
Grassley threw a left jab at Holder Monday and followed it up today with a right hook that – if this were a boxing match – might have left the embattled attorney general on the mat. All of this is fascinating Pacific Northwest gun owners, who have been following this story for months here and here, and on other gun rights forums as well.
The Ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Grassley has been dissecting Holder’s Nov. 8 testimony before that panel in a series of articles published on his website. In Monday’s installment, Grassley notes:
According to emails produced by the Justice Department, Nathan Gray, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Phoenix Field Division, was at the press conference held that day to announce the death of Agent Terry, and was telling individuals there about the connection to Operation Fast and Furious. Thus, by the time Secretary Napolitano visited Arizona a few days later, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office were clearly aware of the connection.
It is clear, however, that multiple officials from multiple agencies knew almost immediately of the connection between Fast and Furious and Agent Terry’s death, including Deputy Attorney General Gary Grindler. The Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security have failed to adequately explain why Attorney General Holder and Secretary Napolitano allegedly remained ignorant of that connection.

get rid of Holder, and properly vet Uhbummer for the election and disqualify him...if we cannot enforce the laws on the presidency and cabinets then we are a communist state..
Good! I cannot imagine him getting off the hook for this. His Deputy AG met at the WH 4 times? C’mon.
Where do you find a special prosecutor to go after the Justice Dept. head? What are the other options for removal? Can he be impeached? Indicted? I know one thing...remove Holder and you remove the (until now)..impenetrable wall surrounding 0bama. Let the skeletons come tumbling out of that closet.

Just the fact that holder is still free says it all. They are all corrupt to the core.
