Lots of truths in old adages:

No good deed goes unpunished.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. (or one rejected)

********************************

The behaviour of this latest woman and perhaps one of the others seem somewhat like stalking to me.

From Wikipedia:

Stalking can be defined as the willful and repeated following, watching and/or harassing of another person. Most of the time, the purpose of stalking is to attempt to force a relationship with someone who is unwilling or otherwise unavailable.

Unlike other crimes, which usually involve one act, stalking is a series of actions that occur over a period of time. Although stalking is illegal, some of the actions that can contribute to stalking are initially legal, such as gathering information, calling someone on the phone, sending gifts, emailing or instant messaging.

They become illegal when they breach the legal definition of harassment e.g. an action such as sending a text is not usually illegal, but is illegal when frequently repeated to an unwilling recipient.

I don’t know what she was trying to pull, but she sure betrayed any friendship she might have had with the Cain’s.

Skank.

I agree. The reporter who broke this story was so unprofessional that we have no idea how many calls were made TO the number and how many made FROM the number.

Her history of stalking and harassing with phone calls (see lawsuit) and also having filed a harassment suit previously add up to very low credibility.
