Their problem is, Newt really is more educated and more intelligent than they are, and they just can't stand it. Maybe, but Newt (suspiciously) doesn't have the right sort of enemies, and he isn't weathering any campaign killing attacks.
That's practically become my new litmus test for a candidate. Our enemies tell us who they fear, and who they don't, by who they seek to destroy.

If he wins the nomination he'll be hit from every side and angle by a press that hates his guts...just like McCain. The only difference is, Newt is ready for them.
He's the only candidate in the Republican field capable of taking them on.
