After reports surfaced Tuesday morning that pizza magnate Herman Cain is reassessing his 2012 Republican presidential nomination bid, POLITICO obtained a statement from a Cain campaign spokesman regarding his candidates consideration of dropping out of the race.
Yes, the campaign spokesman said Tuesday when asked whether Cain would definitely remain in the race.
The clarification comes after the National Review Online released statements that Cain made in a conference call with campaign aides Tuesday morning. During the call, Cain made the following statements, We have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some peoples minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth, Cain said.

It's context sweetheart:
"Theyve indicated that theyre trying to develop nuclear capability and they want to develop more aircraft carriers like we have. So yes, we have to consider them a military threat."
Cain was pointing out that the Communist Chinese are seeking both a nuclear capability AND more aircraft carriers LIKE ... WE ... HAVE. He was focused on the drive of Beijing to achieve at a minimum nuclear equity with the U.S., and (in my opinion) nuclear supremacy.
Now give your head a shake. It ain't rocket science, but if it were, Herman Cain could explain it to you.

Sorry, but it seems to me that lately you’ve been the one being a crybaby. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to “grow a pair”, it seems to make some of you guys act very childish and silly. Kind of like a teenage boy.

So everyone on here who doesnt support Herman Cain is a “paid stooge of Karl Rove?”
In that case I’ll have to give Karl a phone call because he owes me some money.

Trying to develop nuclear capability like we have is not the same thing as trying to acquire nukes for the first time.
Read much?

You know this. Everyone knows this. Do you believe you are fooling anyone? My post to you confirms he knew China had nuclear weapons. Why continue to lie? You have shot your credibility more than once on FR.
It would appear that the Newt apologists are a less than honest bunch.

What so many alleged conservatives are missing is, you can't be a 'half' conservative. And a RINO does more harm for conservatism, period. If a RINO is elected, they are considered the standard for all others. Who the hell wants any of these RINOs representing conservative principles and values?
You simply do NOT advance conservatism by becoming more liberal. Period.
And that's exactly why the 'Anyone but Obama' phrase is crap. It isn't a winning strategy (see tag), it's a vote for the lesser of two evils, and a desperate act the cling to an already dying (R)- which is ultimately putting conservatism on the road to extinction.

Of course he will.....until he doesn’t.
Cain is living on borrowed time. Anyone with half a brain and a limited knowledge of politics can see that it’s over.

So everyone on here who doesnt support Herman Cain is a paid stooge of Karl Rove? No, but if you joined only a few days back, you need to temper your statements.
To: ken5050
I will try and find the source for you...I read it several times earlier today... Well, I read the original reports about this woman's cell phone records, and Freepers were even joking that the press was trying to make hay over the latest call being recorded between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. As if there was something suspicious about that.
Let me know when you find the report about calls in the wee hours. I'd like to see that.
