Please vote at the following TWO links.
Only one vote per IP address is allowed (the previous poll allowed more than one vote per IP address).
The first poll is by request, NOT including write-in options:
Poll #1: NOT Including Write-In Options
The second poll is the original poll, which INCLUDES write-in options:
Poll #2: INCLUDING Write-In Options
Please do vote in both polls, so we can get an idea of how things change without write-ins.
.
In trying to add a new poll without write-ins, I accidentally messed up the original poll. So I had to start over. I think I have it fixed now. So please vote again if you already voted in the last one -- it will allow you to vote now.
.
These polls will give us a snapshot of how people are feeling at this moment, including the recent Cain turmoil.
We can run a new poll in a week or so and see how the votes change.
I'm sure this poll can be compromised by being slammed by Liberals... so take the results with a pound of salt, just like all polls.
Bummer - I was hoping the “DO OVER - FIXED” in your title referred to the current list of choices on the GOP field...
Wouldn’t it be nice if Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, etc. decided to shift back their ballot deadlines so we could get DeMint, Jindal, Brewer, maybe even Palin as choices, as compared to the current lineup of clowns!
At least it got rid of the Newtdroids who slammed the poll thus skewing the results.
Ping to the new and improved poll(s). You can still vote at the links.
The current results are:
When write-ins are not included in the options to vote, the current vote, out of 319 votes:
Gingrich 35%
Cain 22%
Paul 11%
Perry 7%
Bachmann 5%
“I would write someone else in” 5%
Undecided 5%
Romney 4%
Santorum 3%
Huntsman 1%
Not going to vote 1%
Huntsman 1%
When the option of a few specific write-ins are included, the current vote, out of 236 votes:
Palin 50
Gingrich 16%
Cain 13%
Paul 8%
Perry 3%
Bachmann 2%
Rubio 2%
“I would write someone else in” 2%
Undecided 2%
Romney 1%
Huntsman 1%
Yes. Don’t be so quick to slam someone else when you don’t know the facts.
The poll was started last night, with the wrong settings. It allowed multiple votes from the same IP address.
The poll was behaving “normally” for the first 200 or so votes, and then it became 70% or more for Newt, and 10% for Romney, and the vote count went from about 200 to about 700 in the same time it took to get the first 200 votes.
You shouldn’t be so quick to show your hind end.

Where are the "facts" proving multiple votes from the same IP addresses? Hmmm?
Again with your piss-poor attitude.
I can send you the IP report if you want. But I suspect you’ll find a reason to disbelieve it as well.

I don't have a piss-poor attitude. Rather, I don't subscribe to rumor, supposition and innuendo. Why not scan the report and post it here?
You made up the rumor in your mind.
I don’t need to post it - I know what it says. Argue with yourself, because I’m done with this topic.
Just thought you should know...
I didn’t vote in the first one, tried too, but it said I already voted.
Then I went to this new one and it said the same thing, so not only did I not get to vote in either, but it thinks I did.
Hmmm. Can you try deleting your cookies and see if it lets you vote?
It let me vote after the new polls were started.
Let me know. Thanks for the heads up, either way.
For messing up the first poll, you are now going to have to listen to Ron Paul tell you about his foreign policy for America. LOL!
Good, you’re blocking by ISP and Cookies. That will prevent spamming.
I messed up both the first AND second versions of the poll!! So give me my 20-min lashing of Ron Paul’s foreign policy. Wait, isn’t it only 10 seconds long? Something like “bring all the troops home now” ?
The second version was off to a great start too, until I accidentally deleted all the data by trying to create a second poll without the write-ins.
And of course it has gotten lost in all the other hullabaloo about Cain today, so it probably doesn’t have as many votes as it should. I wish some of the ping lists (for each and every candidate) would hit it, simply so more people vote. Higher sample size should be more valid it it’s not getting spammed.
For those of us who aren’t professional pollsters, we’re not going to get a gazillion votes. Some people just won’t do it anyway. Even for professional pollsters.
And Ron Paul’s policy is only ten seconds, but now he gets 20 minutes to ramble on about it. LOL!
Ahhhh, so it was you doing all that ballot stuffing! Good of you to step forward and admit to it. Must be one of those Demoncraps who abandoned their sinking ship back when it was so in vogue! I understand you have a tradition to uphold.
OK, so I voted in both.
Besides FR, from what other sources are you soliciting votes?
I’m not soliciting votes from any other sources.
Thanks for voting.
Well, I like to support FReepers efforts when I can, and putting this poll together had to take a good bit of your time/energy and skill. So good on you.
I just think any poll of FReepers only has to be more than a little skewed. Ya think?
Good luck in your effort.
