If the records she’s already given to the media weren’t real, Cain would be hollering about it.

As it is, he as much as admitted up front that he’s been ‘friends’ with her and gave her money. And his attorney practically admitted her story had merit, while trying to shut his client up.

If I promise to vote for the presidential nominee, you guys can too. Nose-holding time, or bye bye country.

Sorry boys and girls, I answer to a higher authority. Go ahead and blame me for your own failures, it means nothing to me.

Yeah Pat has been right on illegal immigration and foreign trade since 1992. He for-saw how these twin demons would destroy America.

We keep letting the liberal media pin labels on our candidates as being “crazy” (Buchanan), “racist”, “dumb” (Palin), sexual harasser (cain) etc.

The Tea Party are “crushing” each other and themselves.

Such is the fate of all revolutionaries. Revolutions always eat their own.

Ask Robespierre, Trotsky, Zinoviev, Röhm, the Strasser brothers.

Revolutionary movements, sooner or later, turn and consume themselves in an act of auto-cannibalism. Even if the Tea Party captured the GOP, the end result would be the same.

I agree with the platitudes but the details are what counts.

Perry’s plan leaves the current tax system in place as an option. To me that just lets the GEs of this country out of paying their share of taxes. Little businesses have to pay a lot more because they can’t afford the tax lawyers and lobbiests to create and find the loopholes in the massive US tax code.

The tax system has to apply evenly to everyone. Big or small everyone needs skin in the game.

That is your belief...many more millions don't share it. Someone will get more votes than Cain, so Cain will not be their first choice.

There is no perfect candidate as you have discovered with Cain. Cain now has more baggage than Gingrich. Ironic, isn't it?

I don’t know. I really just don’t know. I know when it comes time for the general election I’m perfectly willing to write somebody in if I must.

Well, Buchanan is not running, Palin is not running and Cain is dropping out ... so you need to consider one of the candidates who is running.

Perry is a good man. He has been falsely accused, just as some think Cain has. He is not an open borders candidate. He has a great conservative record.

The only other candidate who has a record as governor is Mitt.

Perry has been sterling on all the issues we care about.

He is totally pro life, he’s defunded Planned Parenthood in Texas, he’s passed tort reform to keep the greedy lawyers hands off doctors and businesses.

He tried to abolish sanctuary cities to the point of calling a special election but couldn’t do it because of business interests and liberals.

He’s tops on pro-gun issues. He’s created a business-friendly atmosphere in Texas that has led to many businesses relocating here and has led the way to a good economy in Texas.

He’s not an open border guy at all. He’s tried hard within the powers of the state to do so to close borders and will do so if elected president.

He’s a good family man with no female skeletons in his closet.

I could go on, but you’ve probably stopped reading.

>>If the records she’s already given to the media weren’t real, Cain would be hollering about it.<<

Hollering about what?
That he has been helping her out?

Look, I can’t tell you the amount of “friends” I’ve helped out with money. That doesn’t mean I slept with them. It means I gave (lent and never got back) them money.

We in this country are innocent until proven guilty.

>>Cain now has more baggage than Gingrich<<

So we are going with the lib reasoning that it’s not the act but the accusation that make one guilty?

Well with friends like that,,,,,

Being a leader is not about being a liberal to every piece of rubbish that puts themselves into your life. You have to have good moral judgement about the people you surround yourself with. Obviously, Mr. Cain in his “bigheartedness” is unable to make good choices. And of course too, he can say anything he wants as his campaign dwindles down to save face. Where there is smoke there is fire. Payoffs to other vultures, and now this speaks to his ability to make sound decisions about those he hires or befriends. Not presidential regardless.

Another one bites the dust and I don’t blame the media for vetting either. I wish they would have done it with Obama. They still haven’t. We won’t get the truth on him til long after he is voted out or probably not even til he expires way down the road. It is what it is.

I think also that some of the candidates and would be candidates have received very serious threats of bodily harm.

It's hard not to think that, given how much a threat at least one of them would be to the ruling class elites.

Perry discussed this aspect of his plan on Fox. He was talking about it with one of the panelists, Charles Krauthammer, who questioned leaving the option in. Perry explained that the option was left in because a lot of businesses had based their business plan on dealing with the current tax code and he didn’t want to undermine them.

He also agreed with Krauthammer’s suggestion that there be a time limit to the opt in to the current system.

This plan was not just thrown out there with a quick slogan but was worked on with Steve Forbes and is a good plan.

youo are being superficial in your assessment of herman’s superficiality on international affairs... he may not be privy to the phrases of right of return, wet foot dry foot, but you are wrong to think a problem solver like herman cain would not find the conservative solution to them. his cuban for delicious is a joke i use all the time since obama’s austrian speak and shows how herman points to their double standards.

i am sticking with cain because the media showed me that sex was a private matter, even when the 13 year affair is not shown to be anything than what mr. cain says....

texts are not a stained dress.

Please you are in denial over this...

You didn’t do something you say I didn’t do anything go ahead and dig.. you don’t come out with some lawyeresque “I didn’t do anything, but this is an allegation of consentual adult behavior and should not be investigated by the press or the public.”

Sorry, but Cain campaign ended a while ago, and his flubbing of Libya question put the nail in it... There is clearly something to this.. last accusers he flubs for 2 days lashes out at everyone this one he’s reassessing his campaign over??

Dude this is POLITICS, this is BIG TIME POLITICS.. you can’t handle being videotaped by editorial boards while being asked softballs, and you think you should be president? Sorry, but Cain is not remotely ready for prime time. An interesting diversion, nice enough guy, but not remotely qualified or capable of being President.

Now personally I don’t care about whether Cain had an affair or not, the guys clearly just not up to par, not even close. What he has or hasn’t done is between him and his wife even if he is running around.. However this guy isn’t a first stringer, not even close, he’s fallen apart repeatedly when he’s been handed softballs, and then claims its other folks fault.

This isn’t a criminal case. You are in denial if you think there isn’t something else going on here... Were you gullible enough to think Clinton bought a Dress for Lewinski just because they were friends too? He’s obviously not being honest about this, and they are trying to hide something, whatever that may be.

Its time for Cain to go back whence he came, maybe someday in the future after he’s actually won an election and has a political resume and proven his abilities in the political realm he may be back, but right now, he’s an empty suit as far as politics go, and we already have one of those in the white house, we don’t need another one.
