Seriously, I am really saddened by the turn of events with Cain. It would have been better if had not entered at all but he did - so - next victim, step forward, please.

It makes me very sad, too. And like you say, let's get it all over with, if there's more to come.

The MSM didn’t just wait until the campaign was over.....if the National Enquirer hadn’t finally spilled the beans we still wouldn’t know about Edwards’ “love child”! They were dragged kicking and screaming into reporting something most of them probably had known about for years!

Just like with Bambi - the truth about his ties to Ayers, Rezko, Man’s Country, etc are all out there for anyone in the MSM to investigate but nooooo, we can’t go after Obama because he’s “one of us!”

I really believe that this all revolves two main issues - removing God from the public square (and replacing Him with Government as the great provider of all things) and unlimited abortion rights....whoever is on their side (in the eyes of the press) gets a pass on EVERYTHING and if they sense someone could overturn either “right”, then you must be destroyed! It is secular humanism at its best - or worst!

Power.

People in positions of power, be it political, economic, or in the arts inevitably develop a sense of immunity; they begin to believe they can get away with anything.

Power is an incredibly powerful aphrodisiac, it has been observed, and I agree wholeheartedly.

Power not only attracts those who wish to possess it, it invariably seduces those who wield it.

Cain says this woman is lying and I believe him over her, the MSM and Obama/Soros mouthpieces.

Cain is my candidate and I will not waiver.

Maybe as conservatives, it is time to start seriously considering a third party, because the choices that are left, are less than adequate.

The perfect is the enemy of the good. Many folks are looking for the unblemished, perfect, clean, gaffe-free, brain with encyclopedic knowledge, candidate of such high standards that makes for a completely unreachable goal.

In many cases, if Moses came down off the mountain to save his people, some would discount him because he once had homicidal thoughts about his son.

Third part is a dead-bang loser. Believe in forgiveness, believe in repentence, and get the best you can under the system we're stuck with. Our system is imperfect - by design - but far better than the Marxist occupant in the White Crib right now.

Never give up on principles, but also we need to stop picking up stones to kill off the "imperfect" candidates when none of us are perfect either.

Yep! When he drops out, so do I. I will not go to one of the media approved candidates:Newt or Rommney.

This is all Obama.

Obama cannot run on his record.

The NY Times said Obama will abandon white workers.

Obama must secure the black vote and Cain is his biggest threat.

Until FReepers wake up and stop being asshats, the MSM will continue to destroy our best candidates.

obama may abandon White workers, but White workers are not going to abandon him, particularily union members.

By now it is obvious that the media and Republican Party have approved two candidates to vie against each other for the nomination,to wit: Newt and Rommney. The media will rip savagely into them and tear them apart.

As for me, when Cain departs, so do I. If there is a third party, I may vote third party, otherwise, I will write in Sarah Palin.

Yup. The Obama/Soros media spews their dishonest ejaculate and FReepers happily and eagerly swallow it.

With Cain out of the way, the dims can now play the race card with Obama. Conservatives just want a white person because they’re hateful.

I like the sentiment, but in practice, with what it looks like it is shaping up to be our choices, Myth, Newt, Perry, you've now crossed over from being able to vote for someone and keep your principles to voting against them.
