In a conference call this morning, Herman Cain told his senior staff that he is “reassessing” whether to remain in the race. He told them he will make his final decision “over the next several days.”

Think so. Cain will be better served out of the race. He was never going to win, and him staying in was doing to damage to his reputation, fairly or unfairly.

IMHO, If he’s “reassessing”. It’s only a matter of time before he gets out.

Too much smoke. There’s gotta be fire there somewhere.

IF true...WHY do these guys run for national office with all these skeletons in the closet? How do they think this stuff won’t come to light and torpedo them?

End game?

Maybe as conservatives, it is time to start seriously considering a third party, because the choices that are left, are less than adequate.

Too many accusations and denials going back and forth, it would seem that this might be the case.

What in the world was he thinking when he entered the race with this baggage as a Republican?

If he were a black democrat, womanizing would have never been mentioned; but surely he knew from observing politics and the media, this is not so for Republicans.

I just hope it has not damaged his marriage beyond repair. What a mess.

Perry is conservatives’ best move now. He’s not perfect, but much better than “third way” Newt and commieRomney.

Yes, unfortunately. He was my choice.

Don’t think i can bring myself to vote for Gingrich, Huntsman, Willard, Santorum.

Gonna have to be Bachmann. (sigh)

I guess they see how little vetting the media does of the Democrat candidate and they think they can get away with it......too bad the rules don’t apply equally! If you are a Republican and you picked your nose in the first grade, expect it to be on the front page of the NYT. For a Democrat, you can literally kill a woman while driving drunk and be lionized for the next forty years!

In the news today. I wonder if the Bialeks are parents of Cain Accuser Sharon Bialek who lives in Glenview, IL a suburb near Streamwood, IL?

By Ryan Haggerty and William Lee

Chicago Tribune

Updated: 10:32 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011

A small airplane transporting a medical patient to the Chicago area from Palm Beach County crashed in northwest suburban Riverwoods late Monday night, killing three of the five people on board, authorities said.

Among the dead was the patient, 80-year-old John Bialek of suburban Streamwood, and his wife, Ilomae, 75, according to authorities........

Or have an affair with your videographer and get her knocked up while you’re running for Prez and then VP...all while your wife is dying of cancer. And the press politely waits until the campaign is over before they make a peep.

The Democratic Party....membership has its privileges.

We will just have to see how the primaries go. Want We?
Defeat Obama. No third party, no write-in, just defeat Obama. I really don’t give a damned who the nominee is. Just defeat Obama!

That will work. It always has in the past.

Your sarcasm aside, it did work when the GOP was first formed.

Furthermore, Myth, Newt, and Ricardo aren't going to win anything.

Each in their own right is seriously flawed in terms of conservatism.

Moderates, no matter how well they are PR-packaged as conservatives, historically, don't win.
