An Atlanta woman came forward in an interview broadcast Monday night with details about what she called a 13-year affair with Herman Cain, the Republican presidential contender whose campaign was already struggling to overcome damage from accusations of sexual harassment. The woman, Ginger White, made the disclosure in an interview with Fox 5 News in Atlanta, becoming the fifth person to accuse Mr. Cain of improper behavior. Ms. White is not, however, claiming that harassment took place. Rather, she described what amounted, in her words, to a romance.

“I thought it a pale version of Doestesvskis The Idiot.
Since The Idiot wasn’t published in English until well after Melville’s Death I doubt that it was much of an influence. I could be wrong but I don’t believe that Herman spoke Russian......Tales of innocence vrs evil run throughout the history of literature.
Maybe you just perfer Russian authors to American?
“Not familiar with Jimmy Legs but Im sure its suitably cutting.”
Had you actually read more than the Cliff notes of Billy Budd you’d know that Mr Clagart, the ship’s Master at Arms, was nicknamed “Jimmy Legs” by the crew.....
“Because theyve done it before, that does not mean this isnt true.”
Is that the sort of logic you are suggesting I get exposure to?????
Seems to me that doing the same thing over and over again (giving credance to Democrat smears) and expecting a different result(that the smears are true)is the classic definition of insanity. Of course you can always hope!
“Since The Idiot wasnt published in English until well after Melvilles Death I doubt that it was much of an influence.”
Where did I say that? What does timeline have to do with versions?
“Maybe you just perfer Russian authors to American?”
Not especially. Although in this case, I did.
Cliif’s notes? I read it in college forty years ago. And it had no bearing on the topic or on myself. Unless you are going to try to protect us, somehow.

Yes, that is EXACTLY the type of exposure you need to logic. You have entirely mixed your metaphor and have no thread to the illogic of your first post in this one.
Gee, since you posted two nonsensical posts in a row, your next one will be nonsense too, I guess.
“your next one will be nonsense too, I guess...”
The only nonsense in these past posts is your obvious belief that mud slinging by the opposition constitutes a legitimate form of “vetting,” and that chasing after every Democrat thrown mud ball is prudent/wise course of action in the Republican primary process...
...after all “it’s the seriousness of the charge” that counts isn’t it? /s
Next you’ll be complaining that the media/Democrats have chosen our nominee for us, and that you’re staying home on election day because you have no candidate to vote for.......(spare me the drama please!)
With that, I’ll leave you to your little white powders Sherlock........

I rest my case.
“I rest my case.”
Sorry pal, you just got laughed out of court....
“My dog informed me just this morning that she too had an affair with Cain. Anyone have Wolf Blitzens number?”
Got a little tale?
Thanks for pinging me FN.
Hey Jess! Come On man! stop w/ the hate...we’re on the same team, right?
