Well, as I believe the so-called “supercommittee” was intended to fail by design, I’d say it was a smashing success. Obama wanted a dog-and-pony show to make it look like he tried to get something done, and to give him a campaign issue against Republicans in 2012. There was no other intended purpose on the Democratic side for the SupeCom.

It did exactly what the frauds wanted. More smoke and mirrors for consumption by the unwashed. They hope to avoid the inevitable reckoning which is coming, but Truth will out.

You beat me to it...

Once the regime got the Republicans to cave to the 2 trillion dollars to spend till the next election in 2012, it was over...

There was no reason for the democrats (in congress or the committee) to do anything but hunker down and let the MSM do the dirty work for them in the interim...

Why the Republicans (and the party leadership) didn’t see this is an extreme failure on their part...And until they stop fiddle fartin’ around with these liberals it will never change...

The change we need to do is make sweeping changes in those up there right now...

I don’t care if we send rookies up there to handle this situation...Obviously, the argument (will be) is that if we send people up there who may, or may not know how things work up there is a moot point...

The way things work up there is a failure (and continuing to grow) to begin with, so it is no great loss of continuity if we fire the whole bunch as far as I am concerned...

If supporters of a conservative agenda cannot rely upon the “generally right-leaning” party of choice to vett out and present a conservative candidate or elected official to us to support, that will be the Republican Party leaderships’ fault...

We need to make a decision, do we continue to allow a moderation of our representation to take place, or do we reject and send the message that it is time for a (just s smidge, which is more than I’ve seen in quite some time) of political courage and non-apologetic conservative stand(s) in our elected officials??? At ALL levels???

2012 should obviously be a banner year for the Republican Party, but what are we really going to get???

It’s never been a perfect situation, and it is unrealistic to expect it to have been, but to have a feckless caste of characters say one thing and then do another...Well, the old addage that that is just politics is not going to fly in my book anymore...

Just my opinion...
