I do think Ob has alienated some number of white dems ____________________________________________________________ I've said this before and I say it again. Even the Black vote will not be what it was in 2008 for Obozo. Let me explain why I say that. He has not delivered for the Black Community like they thought he would and many of them are disillusioned and downright pi**ed off at him. The Unemployment rate among Blacks is over 16 percent. The novelty and "the new" has worn off. They've had their Black President and he has not delivered. The excitement over Obozo is gone; they will not empty out the jail houses, the crack houses and the HO houses for Obama like they did in 2008. Just hide and watch.
I've said this before and I say it again. Even the Black vote will not be what it was in 2008 for Obozo. Right on the money, ND. I've said the same thing many times, and unlike many, I have intimate knowledge of how black Dems are thinking, because most everyone in my family is black, and they're ALL Dems.
I was back home in California for a visit in April of 2010, and the Obama stickers had already come off all of their cars. When we finally had the inevitable political conversation, not a one of them brought up Obama's name. Not one.
They're not quite up to coming right out and condemning the man, but their heart's no longer with him. I wouldn't be surprised if lots of them can't find the umph to drag themselves to the polls next November.
