Not sure what to think of this yet.
The picture in the Fars story was from an explosion in Kashmir in October, nothing to do with this.
Hearing mixed Iranian reaction, from “no explosion” to “training incident”.
Too early to judge this yet.

The picture is from October and from Kashmir.Well now this has become more strange than the mysterious explosion itself.
Why on earth would the FARS News Agency post-up a bogus photo on their website about an explosion that just happened?

Well, they did promise an unanswerable rejoinder:
Iran poised for dramatic response within days to world's nuclear pressure
November 23, 2011Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his inner council are very near to deciding on an unanswerable rejoinder to the rising level of international pressure on its nuclear program, DEBKA-Net-Weekly discloses in its coming issue out next Friday.

Probably just shoddy reporting, using an explosion pic from their archives to illustrate the story.
To: maquiladora; jhpigott
Looks like someone trying to make something that didn’t happen look like it did, or perhaps the opposite.

Thanks. I am humbled by the actions of many, including those mentioned in this article, to save our nation and destroy evil. I get the same feeling every time that I go to a military museum. Their courage and faith in the ideals of a free society are the reason why we can rest safely in our beds at night.
