When I read the headline I fully expected the article to be from Atlanta. We’ve had a rash of abuse cases like this in the last few weeks.
When they arrived at the door no one answered until they kept pounding on the door because they suspected something was wrong.
When they got inside, they found Christopher’s body and called police, Valdez said. Officials said the boy had been dead for several hours before emergency crews were called.

****en sick and maddening ! I am sure when they enter general population of prison, they are going to be dead quickly !
I never understand women putting their “boyfriends” over their children. They’ll do more to keep some slob of a man than seeing that their children are okay. Kill them both.
As a parent of two boys age 3 and 4, stories like this have a profound effect on me. I think prison is too good for these two.
Once again... the boyfriend (and the so called Mom assisted). Makes me sick. Not sure why but one part of the article just sickened me. It discusses how the boy’s granddaddy brought over a birthday cake (the boy was already murdered). Four short years on this planet isn’t right. So very, very sad.
Prayers for this little child. His birthday which should be fun and filled with friends, cake and ice cream, balloons and presents but instead he is found inside his “home” dead. That was his present from his mom and her boyfriend for his birthday.

I cannot for the life of me understand how this happens. I cannot for the life of me understand how any woman will allow a “boyfriend” (which btw is a juvenille term no adult woman should be using for having a man live with her and her child) at any rate...
I am saddened to the core over this. I am losing more and more faith every single day about how far and how low we have come that I don’t think it will ever be turned around again.
Our precious babies and children being murdered before AND after they are born. Continuous stories of missing babies and children and never finding their remains and no one responsible for the crime.
My heart is breaking for this little child and what he must have endured and on his birthday ... the day he was born he lives then dies on his 4th birthday. I have tears over this and just had to vent. I know this little boy is in heaven and that’s good because he certainly must have suffered the pangs of hell over his short little life time. I am glad he is in heaven but oh how I wish he could have lived a happy life with a loving family. When does all of this stop? When do people get back the souls they have lost? When does this country become whole once again? God help us all.

An Illinois Department of Children and Family Services investigation in August did not substantiate allegations of abuse against her but did find that she had neglected her child, DCFS spokesman Kendall Marlowe said.
