“What do you think?”
I think presidential candidate Herman Cain ought to tell us clearly what HE thinks, not wait to be asked by some interviewer (most of whom aren’t as informed as 90% of freepers).
And I think he’s a shucky ducking fog emitting tin plate phony.
Everyone’s sitting at their keyboards, trying to parse his emissions and tweak out the meanings, like a college of theologians engaged in...what do they call that? Oh, yes: hermeneutics!
Looks like you evaded the question just like you accuse Cain of doing. The difference being that you were asked the question directly and Cain was not.
Cain has outlined his four problem solving - including empower the states to do what the federal government can't and won't do - as FAR BACK AS 2007 and has reiterated it ALL ALONG In this election cycle.
Solve FOUR problems: 1. Secure the border 2. Enforce the laws on the books 3. Encourage the path to citizenship already in place - starting with entering the country LEGALLY. 4. Empower the states to do what the Federal government can't
What is so hard for you all to understand the need for state involvement in the deportation process? Cain is not asking states to CHANGE the federal law
Here is a comprehensive look at Cain's immigration stance:

And I think you are correct. This guy changes his mind as often as changing a baby's diaper. I no longer take him seriously. I pay attention to what he says and it keeps changing.
Very clear that Cain is not qualified to be president. It is not a hatred of him as a person it is a observation of him as a candidate. He makes one guffaw after another and he so lax in his knowledge of foreign affairs it is scary.
As for Newt’s policy on immigration/illegals..it is out there and it is doable. It is the plan Tony Snow wrote on Myths and Facts on Amnesty..a must read on a critical issue. I do believe Perry shares the same plan as Newt but would not swear to it.
Cain could not win the senate seat in Georgia...he won’t win the gop nod for president.
