Back in HS we sang Les Marseillese every so often in French class. My HS was a Jesuit military school which held and still does the Army JROTC Honor Unit Designation. So I don’t think anyone was afraid we’d run off to join the Foreign Legion. Still I like this kid. She stands up for her beliefs.

Les Marseillese = a French revolutionary song and the French national anthem.

It is not the French Pledge of Allegiance.

What do you think would happen in Mexico if a teacher had the Mexican students recite the U.S. pledge of allegiance?
