Who is it that mandates that you watch these programs on the TV?
Nobody and we don't. However, here's the problem. The kids down the block watch these shows and their parents think there's nothing wrong with that. So now, I have to prevent my kids from playing with these other kids because of all the toxic cultural pollution they've absorbed.

I think that parents have always had to protect their kids unwelcome influence.
