An attack by Nato aircraft on Pakistani troops that allegedly killed as many as 28 soldiers and looks set to further poison relations between the US and Pakistan was an act of self-defence, a senior western official has claimed.
According to the Kabul-based official, a joint US-Afghan force operating in the mountainous Afghan frontier province of Kunar was the first to come under attack in the early hours of Saturday morning, forcing them to return fire.
The high death toll from an incident between two supposed allies suggests Nato helicopters and jets strafed Pakistani positions with heavy weapons.

Finally they got the culprits. Pakis, so ... if they carry a gun and shoot at you, you turn them into displaced persons!

No, no, no... The Pakistani soldiers fired at the planes prior to the attack in a move that was merely "meant to notify the aircraft of their presence after [the infidels' flying machines] passed into Pakistani airspace." They were just saying, "Hello, friends -- Brr...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Don't shoot. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! We, your friends, are over here -- Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" Very innocent, you see? That's what a
joint U.S.-Pakistan investigation said about a similar incident last year.

Pakistan is no friend. We have to bribe them every year with Billions just so they will “allow” our supplies to move through Pakistan to our military in Afghanistan.
Friends do not give sanctuary to our mortal enemies such as Bin Laden. Pakistan is just practicing deception of friendship so they keep getting that yearly “bakshish”. Deception is a recommended method of dealing with infidels in Islam.

Yep I agree. No American Taxpayer aid until countries PROVE they are our partners in this war.

My reply to Pakistan would be a 1 hour warning to clear the Khyber Pass. Then proceed with a volley of 20 bunker-buster bombs to annihilate the roadway.
