An 18-year-old is dead after he reportedly took his own life outside Mission Friday night.
Family of Joaquin Luna told Action 4 News the teen left behind suicide letters explaining he took his own life, because he was an illegal immigrant and would never be able to attend college because of it.
Family said Friday night the teen dressed up in a suit and tie, kissed them, then went into the restroom and shot himself in the head.

How about sixty two minutes? At what point does being illegal become legal based on time? By the way, Freepers who don’t approve of illegal immigrants are not members of the KKK. A: That person doesn’t exist, except in your dreams. If that kid’s parents are illegals, he is more than connected to Mexico. He likely lives in a Hispanic neighborhood, knows LOTS of other Illegals, and, if anything, is not well-integrated into US culture. That’s simply how it works out when you have 10s of millions of illegals.
B: If he did exist, he would be more than fluent in Spanish. He should go to college there, and as a plus, their colleges are probably less anti-American than the ones here in the US. With that education he will do just fine in life. He can (legally) apply for a green card when he graduates.
Americans by the thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) go overseas EVERY YEAR to study. It’s really not a big deal.

Suicide among the young is usually a means of harming others. I’m guessing there were plenty of other issues at play.

That this happened in Texas, the most accommodating State concerning college for illegals, is ridiculous.
That's not on honest, hardworking, taxpaying Americans.
That's on his illegal parents.

Every dollar's worth of schooling, housing, medical, food stamps, etc. taken was one less dollar honest citizens had to care for their own kids.
His father and mother stole an ID and took a job from a citizen.
Send him back to his native country.
It could be a deterrent to future illegals if they know their kids will be sent back when they are apprehended.
