The "deport them all crowd" doesn't want to hear this. You are leaving out the part about most of these people doing their best to stay under the radar. What do you think will happen when the government is actively rounding them up, and legal members of their communities are doing everthing they can to help them stay hidden? I predict a "peaceful resistance" movement where legal citizens allow themselves to be persued just to tie up resources. Certainly there will be tens of millions of court cases. Any deportation plan is pure fantasy and nothing more. So the question remains: What do we do with these people. So far Gingrich's is the only honest idea on the table.
His opponents are content to smear him with buzzwords and scare tatics. The EXACT same behavior from the left has given us the current Social Security crisis.

You know what? I used to think just like the people who are giving me hell and not that long ago. I did some looking into situations around my community and found where some neighborhoods which had been trashed by my white people have been renewed by Latino families. It took some real soul searching on my part to see the whole picture but I also just saw the realistic truth that there can be only limited success in deporting the illegals by deporting the unproductive and welfare illegals as well as the felons, law breakers. We must secure our borders and punish employers who hire illegals.
