Turn me into the authorities! Since you have none of your own.
Or you could refute what I said. Do we deal with people (civil OR criminal offenders) collectively?
None of the candidates have said we do or we should.
I believe I've said nothing on that score that Palin, Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Perry or Santorum would disagree with. Can you cite any comments of theirs to the contrary?
None of the candidates have said we do or we should.
Wrong. Herman Cain said in the last debate that the answer is to simply enforce the laws on the books. That approach doesn't preclude dealing with the illegals either collectively, or individually.
The law is the law. It addresses a behavior, which our Congress has deemed illegal. It doesn't matter if one person or millions of individuals have broken that law, it's still illegal under our system.
In my view, you're trying to draw a distinction without a difference. Sorta how the liberals try to get us conservatives to see the 'nuance' in such matters. I don't care if we deal with hundreds at a time, or thousands, or single individuals. They broke our laws, and they need to answer for it, wherever we find them.
