Its always interesting to read predictions of what life and society will be like in the future.
I remember in the 1950s that experts were predicting what America would be like fifty years later. Wed all be wearing clothes made with synthetic material that would never ear out. Cars would fly. There would be no more war and people would be flying all over the solar system.
In 1949, Eric Arthur Blair published his most famous novel under the pen name of George Orwell. 1984 described a socialistic society where the people were constantly watched and monitored by a godlike leader known as Big Brother. Under the totalitarian rule, individuality and reason were considered to be crimes.
However, one of the most accurate depictions of America today was a cartoon made in 1948 by the Extension Department of Harding College. The cartoon, entitled Make Mine Freedom, shows what happens when an unsuspecting society sells their freedoms for ism. Watch for yourself and see just how close this 63 year old cartoon describes America today as it is being run by the liberals of both parties.

It also warns against “religious intolerance.” So what, now I gotta work together with Mormons and Muslims? Two groups that provably, demonstrably hate America and Americans and want to see us all dead and/or subjugated and/or forcibly enjoined into homosexual polygamy?
For later

I was thinking the same thing! I wonder if it could be photo-shopped to make him look a little more like Obama. Maybe add a golf club? Then, announce to all the "Occupy _____" people that it's move night and show this on the side of a building or screen for all to see. I wonder what the reaction would be?
The so-called "journalists" of Big Brother's Propaganda Machine (the MSM) are some of its biggest imbibers and pushers.
These petty, unintelligent quislings are the predictable outgrowth of American decadence--which erupted into the open like an abscess in the 1960s as the "Counter-Culture Movement" and continues, like a spreading infection, today as "Occupy Wallstreet (or whatever)", the Democrat Party, "The Left", "Liberalism", et al.
It has many incarnations, but they are all the same, tired, worn-out, old song-and-dance that history has recorded since its beginning: civilizations fall because of internal moral and cultural rot and decay.
Today's incarnations embody America's internal rot and decay.
There's nothing loftier than that about it.
And there's nothing new about it.
Harding College is now Harding University. Looks like a good school for those wishing a Christian institution.
