Fool me once, shame on you!
Fool me four times, shame on me!
Unfortunately, for us with the age and experience to have seen it all before, up close and personal, and having use of a functioning brain, we know that what ultimately happens is not up to a president alone, although his embracing any kind of an amnesty program (by any other name) simply makes the problem worse.
Having said what he did, Ginrich has NO hope of ever getting my vote.
Name any current national problem, and I know that the billions (trillions?) spent on supporting illegal immigrants (welfare, tax 'refunds,', supplementary income, housing, health care, education) will always be a major component of the problem.
All of us who have traveled by air with children, or others depending on us, are familiar with the instructions in case of emergencies that we should care for ourselves first, if we hope to save others dependent on us. A common sense and uncontroversial concept.
Does it not make equal sense to care for our national citizen taxpaying base for the same reason? Fail to think and everybody 'dies.'
Being totally heartless and 'uncompassionate,' when TSHTF and bread is $50 a loaf (if I can find any,) I WILL care for my own (and those like me) first; parasites will not get a second thought.
So you would prefer Obama or Romney ? That's fine. Romney appears to agree with you now. At least until he gets the nomination.
