In light of
this, I'd just like to point out, that I said -- in my
post #30 -- "you've
made yourself look like a bone-head." I did
not say you
are a bone-head. I've read your postings for many years, and I know you're not a bone-head. I apologize for being mean-spirited and overshooting my intended tone.

Big on the deception thing, the three conservatives, cain, bachmann and santorium have all called for a border fence, first, and let the states help enforce the laws. When you take the first twenty employers assets, the road south will be full of illegals driving themselves home.

"There is a path to non-deportation for certified, very long-term community members..." In other words, we need to keep providing cheap under-the-table labor for shyster businesses that are contributing money.

No apology necessary. I enjoy a little sparring in the morning. Takes my mind off the serious stuff.

...."But "there is no path to citizenship in my Tuesday night comment on immigration," Gingrich told Newsmax. "There is a path to non-deportation for certified, very long-term community members but they would not have the right to vote."This "very intelligent" person is too stupid to be a serious presidential candidate...
... if he unaware that EVERY FREAKIN' previous "not a path to citizenship or citizenship rights" proposal in the past has totally and utterly failed.
Only difference now is there's 20 million of them.
(Deport them all and readmit the 10% worth having.)

Alabama did recently and their unemployment went down. Imagine that, Americans can finally find work in their own country!

We already have enough government officials unwilling to enforce immigration laws, we don't need another one. Unfortunately, to date, we have NO candidate who has declared unequivocally and convincingly a commitment to either enforce the U.S. immigration laws, repeal them, or to apply Temporal Reciprocity.

I read that and thought of Perry. Who was against it? Mitt, Huntsmen and MB?

"there is no path to citizenship in my Tuesday night comment on immigration," Gingrich told Newsmax. "There is a path to non-deportation"
That is even worse! They get benefits, can't get kicked out, and pay no income taxes.
Newt is digging his hole even deeper!

MB did at the debate, don’t remember if Cain or Santorum chimed in about it.

And you trust Newt to close the border ? Really ? I remember open borders Newt from 1994....you might want to look at what he did when he had a chance to fix the immigration mess in the 90s.

How many families have we heard that have been here for many years have been broken up and deported and have left their American born children here?ZERO.
These latin American illegals may be poor, but they're not stupid.
Smarter than your average American Presidential Candidate, in any case.

No apology necessary. I enjoy a little sparring in the morning. Takes my mind off the serious stuff. There ya go.
But anyway, I didn't mean it in a mean way. At least at first.
But the Jobs story haunted me. I had read the article that Freeper Plain Talk posted back when it came out, and it really bothered me. I had hoped to meet Jobs one day, and really thought there was a chance it might happen -- I won't go into the reasons I harbored this belief -- and that chance was taken away from me because he chose to follow his own advice on his health problems. The thing is, if he had lived another ten years, as Dr. Amri said was a possibility, he might have lived long enough to benefit from an actual cure for his cancer.
And I might have been able to meet him, not that that matters to anyone but myself. And assuming I'm allowed to stay on this Earth another ten years, which is another question entirely.

Newt is an enormous fraud.
He has set up a straw man.
The ISSUE is that illegals get to stay, be parasites on the taxpayer dollar, and ALL OF THEIR OFFSPRING WILL BE US CITIZENS.
He delays for 15 years, at most, the great fears he defacto acknowledges about Citizenship and Amnesty.
He retains the enormous incentive for everyone, everywhere, to get here at all costs.
He and other advocates for "legalization" are traitors to the nation.

Nice to hear, but the problem with it is that he has given me ample reason not to trust his word brain. When a difficult decision, like dealing with sandmaggots, rears its ugly head, he would call "surrender" by a different name, call us heartless, and "solve" the problem by giving up.
