If you call 50s era technology well equipped, I suppose so. They really don’t have much in the way of modern equipment, and they don’t have the funds for much training.
...I'm not up on the technology, so, I will accept the 50's era point. But, I have observed that the US with its advanced MIC will not use it to rid the current wave of despots on their own turf. They throw missiles, we through missiles. I realize that's a poor analogy, but, I hope you see the point. We limit ourselves by not going all out.
